How much blending on the original artwork is needed? I never thought about it but noticed it here. Is it possible to not touch on it at all?

It really depends on the art and how well I am able to color match. I usually blend over a bit along the edges for a more seamless transition, unless the original art is very detailed.

Are you just using printer paper as your wet pallet?

For this card I am using a dry pallet paper, which has a more glossy finish but works ok for smaller acrylics projects
