      Unfortunately this e30 one won't. I believe e28 has a split steering column like the airbag e30. It would have to be redesigned as a one piece steering column. There has been a few people to ask for e28 so I will look into it

      Any strut bar for e30 is worth the money. In my opinion this is a much needed upgrade to every e30. This one definitely wins in the style and performance factor.

      Hi, I believe we have talked about this in the past. Personally and sorry to say I would never try and put an m20 in an e36. Too heavy of a car for the motor. It's a generation behind in a motor. Better off with an m42 which came in some e36

      Unfortunately we did not get the m20b20 here in the US so Unfortunately I dont know. Although normally you keep the engine harness with the motor your using. But if all the pin outs are the same since it's a late model and all the sensors are the same. It would be fine. But like I said I'm not sure. Sorry!

      87 325is is already 1.3 or alteast my car was. I just wanted to use late model engine harness. Only thing 87 doesn't have is the detachable injector harness. Everything else is basically the same. Also c104 different

      So such thing as "best". Every rack has different characteristics. E36 m3 96+ might be preferred over a e46 yellow or purple tag. But yes a yellow or purple is a great upgrade if your looking for something more

      Connectors are the same, wiring is the same lol. Both are white, yellow, black wire same order. Usually a trial and error of flipping them back and forth till car starts

      If your taking about the 3 pin (only 2 being used) black plug on the late model hvac harness. It the compressor switch. On early model it goes through the engine harness. On late model it goes through the chassis harness

What kind of package did you you prefer to me and what i need indeed to change? What kind of parts can i use exactly and what is the differences between the yellow, blue, purple, red ore the silver batch on the Racks? Do i need to change the oil lines ore how can i change all these? I like your very good feeling on the Wheel and that makes really sense to me and there for I need your experience. If you don't want something to heavy i recommend a e36 m3 96+ rack. 3.2 lock to lock compared to 4.0 stock e30 rack. Doesn't have the heavy feeling the e46 racks have. Perfect upgrade over stock. The colored tags represent the racks and their part numbers. Yes the lines will need to be changed for the racks swap.       There is a few differences between all the e36 models. 95 M3 3.0 turns lock-to-lock 96+ M3/MZ3 3.2 turns lock-to-lock Z3 2.8 turns lock-to-lock 325 3.4 turns lock-to-lock 328 3.2 turns lock-to-lock

    Can this be plugged into an ecu or PDM so it could change the level of assist at different speeds automatically?

      It's not set up for it but theoretically if you where to wire the potentiometer into the ecu to control voltage it might work...not a bad idea. The old version of this was controlled by the cars speed sensor but it was decided the adjustment knob was better for setting how it should feel

    I've been dying to know, Did you when you did your Cam did you upgrade the valvesprings to something like what Ireland Engineering has the Duel Valve Springs, or do you think with a turbo build there fine OEM? Also do you recommend the HD rockers?

      Left the springs alone but do have HD rockers

      @@themaskeddriver Not yet was indebate if I needed the Springs first, done new Vales, stems, eccentrics, 284 Degree Cam, just nothing yet for the springs or rockers as the springs were $550 and the Rockers were $300 and I am still to get Forged Pistons and rods and a MLS Headgasket for the Turbo setup.

      If your doing it all you might as well do the springs. My motor isn't crazy and the plan is to build a bigger stroker in the future once everything is dialed

    Awesome series! Which upgrade rack do you think feels closest to stock in terms of how much pressure you apply to turn the wheel when driving/steering? (when using power steering)

      E36 m3 96+ rack is the way to go. Gets you that upgrade over stock without the "heaviness" like the others

    Awesome series man! Hey how does the e46 racks steering feel compared to stock e30? My wifes e30 vert has a leak and i was fixing to swap it with a e46 purple....but she doesn't drive sporty or anything. She just like it to drive nice. When you say the purple rack is "heavy" is it way heavier than stock where shes gonna feel like she has to really push it compared to oem?

      I'd recommend a e36 m3 96+ rack over the the e46 for a purely daily driver

    the m40 version of e30, does it have the 1 or 2 fuel sender level?

      Late model 318i usually had an early model style tank. So 1 fuel sender. I'm pretty sure but there is a possibility I'm wrong

      @@moza260 yes the right side level sender is the same for late and early. Fuel pump hanger is slightly difference between early and late.
