do you still need to attach oil lines, like loop them ? what way does it work for purple tag ?

No, you'd remove all hydraulic power steering lines and use a ps delete block on any of the racks. This works with any rack you want as it's a column replacement not a rack replacement. You'd simply install a purple tag rack. Use a power steering delete block off on the rack and electric power steering column and you are good to go!

Would this column swap work with the e28?

Unfortunately this e30 one won't. I believe e28 has a split steering column like the airbag e30. It would have to be redesigned as a one piece steering column. There has been a few people to ask for e28 so I will look into it
