    Just to be clear, are you saying the 96+ M3 rack is better than the Z3 one for an E30? Or that the 96+ M3 rack is the best choice all told for the E30?

      There is no such thing as "better". The e36 96+ m3 has different characteristics than the z3 and personally I think the e36 m3 rack is a better daily driver rack and the z3 rack is more a canyon/track rack.     Hey bro, do you happen to know if the 96+m3 rack fits in a 91 airbag car without modification? Or does any rack fit in a 91 airbag car without modification (besides the original rack lol).

      Hi any airbag car will require firewall modification for any steering rack other than e30. Only way for no modifications is to swap on a non-airbag steering column (direct bolt on swap) which requires no cutting
