I got some questions about the different Racks for the e30.
I live in Germany and we have 90% Canyons around here and I’m an sporty daily driver by the way and i need a good feeling, direct not to heavy but with good street response and turnable wheel.
What kind of package did you you prefer to me and what i need indeed to change? What kind of parts can i use exactly and what is the differences between the yellow, blue, purple, red ore the silver batch on the Racks?
Do i need to change the oil lines ore how can i change all these?
I like your very good feeling on the Wheel and that makes really sense to me and there for I need your experience. Thank you very much and greetings from Germany ✌🏼

If you don't want something to heavy i recommend a e36 m3 96+ rack. 3.2 lock to lock compared to 4.0 stock e30 rack. Doesn't have the heavy feeling the e46 racks have. Perfect upgrade over stock.
The colored tags represent the racks and their part numbers.
Yes the lines will need to be changed for the racks swap.

Is this preferable to the 96+ E36 M3 with no PS to you?

I'm not running power steering in my car so I'm running the z4 rack. If your not going to run PS it's a great option. Personally I like it more than the e36 m3 rack but there are trade offs
