I have a question plz
Im gonna swap my e30 its 320i late model and swap it with m20b25 engine
Do i need to change the loom ?
I know im gonna chabge the(ecu,fuel nozzles,etc...)
Soo the point is
Is there any difference between m20b20 loom and m20b25 loom ?

Unfortunately we did not get the m20b20 here in the US so Unfortunately I dont know. Although normally you keep the engine harness with the motor your using. But if all the pin outs are the same since it's a late model and all the sensors are the same. It would be fine. But like I said I'm not sure. Sorry!
@@themaskeddriver yeah its the same as m20b27 but with minor differences , and yeah the pins are the same and the same for the sensors, im gonna swap it next week i hope it works without any problems.

im lost on the ac switch, doesnt it need to connect to the ecu?
Yes it runs though the chassis harness to the 3 pin connector on the late model harness (only two pins actually being used if I remember it's the black/red (ac) and a black purple. From the 3 pin connector it goes into engine harness and then into the ecu

Why? If it's an m20 there is no reason to use the early model harness!!!!!!
@@themaskeddriverbecause it’s what I had on deck . My original was damaged beyond repair and I had a spare . So i basically merged the 2
Sell the early (which is probably too late) and sell the late and just buy a late model harness. No point in going through all this headache!
