You need to try with flash box. I always backup emmc, flash, ufs with flash box if someone asked or mentioned about data recovery.

I would not have found that fault without the schematic. With 3v either side of the 3 Ohm resistor - I would have been blaming the charger port or the charger or even the EC chip. LOL

You can't beat a piece of calibrated wire to force a power rail to start up. Take care Sorin, you don't seem your usual chirpy self.

As much as liquid metal might help with thermals, I would replace it with a descent thermal compound. Liquid metal is just asking to kill your device.

I absolutely detest this newer Cambridge Audio stuff to work on. So-called high end but an absolute mess of spaghetti design and typical cheapo, poor quality Chinese manufacture with globs of glue everywhere in lieu of actually building stuff properly. The brand is on my Voodoo list these days. They don't even sound all that great anymore in my opinion.
