I was skeptical at the first minute but after analyzing the numbers, looks legit. thing with laptop fans is engineers can't make them big enough but they also can't make them spin fast enough because of the high frequency noise it makes. Laptop motherboard components don't get much airflow due to these tiny fans, the reason laptops are not reliable as desktops PCs.
The product is too expensive though at $115USD, if you can find something similar with large foam, then get that version.

i dont think that would really matter. if they even were working as a generator, pretty much all modern fans have built in diode to not fry something on the board. blower fans can spin pretty fast so i dont think 2800rpm fan can make it outspin the designed fan speed by that much.

    • @zodiacfml

thats not logic at all, check on the resolution settings and the user mode, I think ur in the quiet or power efficient mode, I have a laptop with 3060 and i5 the gen and I can easily get over 60 fps on ultra settings

Will running on 300 rpms keep the fans quiet in an MSI Katana when just browsing and light work? Also, have you heard of the fan spinning out of control, therefore slicing right into the laptop?

was that cpu at 70 C on idle ? huh ... my ryzen 5 4600h stays at 38-40 idle? and at max 80 with Honeywell pads... just saying

Your only getting a better fps because the CPU is clocked up to consume 100w peak vs 50w when it was at 25fps, I just dont get the point of gaming laptops they just seem like a hacky solution that give poor results and value for money.

its not worth the money really. for a lot less money u can do same stuff, even better with two fans so its more quiet, i can do that easly on 3d printer.
and of course more satisfaction from that, but its just my opinion. add to those liquid metal and u done with temps totally.

“A proper cooling solution for a proper gaming laptop”… HA HA AND LOL. Rtx 3060 it’s a joke or more like a ripoff for the people who doesn’t know what they are buying and want to play games. If you want to play get a efing desktop instead of an expensive laptop with crap performance which thermal throttle then add an external cooling solution (alienware design copy). Not to mention the takeoff jet plane that enter’s the building when it’s powered on :)))
Nowadays the laptops are ripoff, they can’t offer you top performance because they can’t be cooled anymore…
