Date: Tuesday, 9th July 2024
Late last night, we received reports of a truck accident near Unizik Junction. Fortunately, there were no casualties, as all commercial activities on the road by the junction had ceased.
Officers were swiftly dispatched to the scene to prevent any potential secondary accidents. Reflective traffic cones and cordon tapes were promptly deployed to manage the traffic congestion.
This morning, our agency deployed a towing vehicle to remove the truck after transferring its cargo to another vehicle.
The road is now clear. We advise all road users, particularly heavy vehicle drivers, to exercise caution when descending the slope near Unizik Junction.

This is a very good video! I hope ARTMA will continue to apprehend and heavily fine anyone violating traffic laws in the state. If they continue with this effort, accidents from reckless driving on Anambra roads will be reduced drastically .
