    ARTMA REPORT
    Saturday, 4th May 2024.
We received reports from tricycle riders along Obodo Ukwu Road, Ogbaru, about their misunderstandings with our field officers, and we immediately arranged for an interactive session.
The tricycle riders took turns to explain their experience, and it was handled one after the other.
We understand the unruly attitude of these riders and MUST checkmate it to ensure Anambra roads are traffic-free, but while doing this, we would also make sure they operate with ease in the state.
The team visited Ochanja, where Mr Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR has completely asphalted all the link roads with a state-of-the-art fountain as a roundabout. Unfortunately, traders have taken over the roads and commercial vehicles load indiscriminately on the roads.
As it is with ARTMA, we have appealed to all those involved, we asked traders to leave the road and gave commercial drivers designated loading/ offloading positions. We made them understand that our next visit would be for strict enforcement as we all have the obligation of supporting and sustaining the good works of Mr Governor across the state.
The tarred Loius Mbanefo road off Ochanja, which should serve as a bypass for those who wish to connect to Port Harcourt road has been converted to a market, cars no longer drive through but we managed to access the road and again appealed to them to immediately vacate the roads.
ARTMA also wants to use this medium to call the attention of all the street traders to please stop this action immediately as the agency will completely confiscate any item seen across the drainage from Monday, 6th May 2024. This trading doesn't only cause traffic on our roads but deface the beautiful road constructions going on in the state.
    SOLUTION IS HERE.
