    ARTMA REPORT
    Thursday, 28th March 2024
As we approach yet another festive period, the agency led by MD/CEO Engr Okonkwo Emeka-KONTI took out time today to attend to so many complaints received on our feedback desk/ customer care number.
The tricycle riders along Awka Road Onitsha and those by MCC junction had a similar issue of conflict with park management which led to them operating outside the park, we resolved the issue seamlessly and both parties were excited.
On Saturday, we reported an unfortunate accident by the bridgehead and again advised commercial vehicle drivers to keep off the area and use allocated parks but some drivers would not adhere. Vehicles were impounded today in the same spot where the accident happened.
We can boldly say we have about 70 percent compliance from tricycle and bus drivers around Obodo Ukwu and Owerri road but we had good conversations with them today as we preach strict adherence.
The agency must also commend the drivers who now use the service lane to drop off and pick up passengers and also warn defaulters who always want to play a fast one.
Our night shift enforcement officers have drastically reduced the number of persons driving against traffic from 5 pm when they assume officers have closed for the day.
Finally, at about 7.28 pm the team drove by some junctions where we posted night shift traffic control officers to ensure they were on duty.
We wish Ndi Anambra a great, peaceful, and traffic-free Easter celebration.
