    Thursday, 30TH November 2023.
The agency received Intel about two groups operating illegally as ARTMA staff.
One group were operating in Awada Obosi and the other by Upper Iweka.
A team led by the MD of ARTMA - Engr. Okonkwo Emeka-Konti and the Special Anti Tout Squad (SASA), invaded the location used as office by the impersonators and arrested them.
The criminals crested "ARTMA" on the cones they use for such illegal jobs.
They also had fake ID cards.
One lady that fell victim to the impersonators narrated her ordeal to us. A mechanic on road test was also a victim too.
The victims were released by ARTMA and cautioned.
When we arrived at Upper Iweka for the second group, they were nowhere to be found.
We'll keep an eye for them and get them all arrested.
Anyone not dressed in any of the above uniform (as shown in the video) isn't an ARTMA staff and should be arrested.

Artma is trying, but they need more training on traffic regulations and management, Engr konti shld ensure that his team members have courtesy, that would make them not behave like touts while on duty and patrols, Engr konti shld also learn lessons from the fall of the then Asta in the state. Also, Artma needs to introduce more traffic lights and also to make sure that the existing once as also in a good shape too, this wld reduce the stress of the Artma officials greatly then they can focuse on enforcement, after all this have been put in many places in the state. Artma needs a good road construction company to help them mark their roads properly and also introduce better road signs all over the state using lagos as a yard stick.
