Robocop vs Cain is great because it's a rivalry in which they literally tear each other apart.

This game would work well using the Dead Rising Engine for a remake if they ever did one. Heck,Capcom would do well with this IP if they had the rights.

My first experience with EDF was EDF2/GDF on a PS2 emulator. I've never fallen in love with a game as fast as this and I wanna try EDF5 some time when I get the funds

This game doesn't have any playable Savage Reign or Kizuna Encounter characters. But I found it interesting that Sho Hayate and Jyazu (from Savage Reign and Kizuna Encounter which take place in south town) were added in the ps2 version for KOF11

Bro I was brought up on those bootleg vhs stores. I grew up in New York city in the late 80s and thought the 90s. I also got dbz tapes with Japanese commercials on them too. Still subtitled tho! The 90s were wild to get anime. I tell my kids now all the time how great it is to have everything at our fingertips. We're gods!

Carmageddon on the PS1 is extremely fucking weird because its a mishmash of Carma1 and Carma2. The intro is just straight from Carma 2, the Eagle design is 2's, most of the cars are from 1 or the splat pack expansion with the drivers swapped around or replaced, and all of the levels are entirely unique to the PS1 version. The peds being 3d is also akin to 2, because in 1 they were sprites. I had no idea this bizarro version even existed. Also it was really amusing to see Matt attempt to race it like a normal racing game instead of a destruction derby with optional checkpoints lol

In my head canon Shin Ultraman is the sequel to Shin Godzilla. There are subtle hints. There are a lot of connections

EDF + Soulsborne is basically All You Need is Kill - or Edge of Tomorrow - if you think about it.

What I always adore about EDF is sheer AMOUNT of crazy weapons and vehicles. Every mission you get something new, which is also compeletely different for every class. Plus, where else you can experience the joy of jumping into 150 ft robot and punching the hell out of Godzilla.

Puzzle and Chess Kombat are worth a few spots on the ladder. So much fun
