Pendon Museum in Oxfordshire preserves the idyllic rural scene and transport of the 1920s and 30s in a miniature form.
We provide an enjoyable and informative experience for family groups; for those interested in all disciplines of modelling; and for those interested in 20th Century rural England, its buildings and its railways.

We have a vibrant membership organisation (Friends) that supports the museum and whose members benefit from a range of exclusive activities and resources.

1936 Express Parcels Service from London
With an ever increasing number of parcels needing transporting, regular services were often delayed by the extra time needed at stations to load and unload them. The solution? The dedicated parcels train.
