Fabulous information and a reminder we should never let go of our artistic creativity and the time required to express this fully whether in reality or in Model making. These videos too are a joy to watch when living so far away. A constant nudge that I must visit soon. Can’t think of any other 1:76 scale model railway scenes that embrace and enjoy the space given over to them like this. It’s an absolute joy to watch the locomotives with various carriages and loads, as they’re filmed, gently weaving their way through each rolling vista, past buildings, over and under bridges, across generously set out point work and through open goods yards and stations. A gentle reminder too that just as so many models can become cramped and over cooked, so can our daily lives and the places we inhabit.

Thanks for sharing this interesting information ! It's striking that with simple tools and local materials our ancestors constructed these lovely buildings still standing today. Architecture was at a humble human scale and beautifully integrated in its environment. Living of the land was respectful even with the hard labor involved. It was all interconnected. We lost it and have disaster "economy" today based on never ending "consumption" and waste production...and manipulated inflation as a result. Just an observation, but there are lessons to be learned from the past. Pendon Museum is to be applauded for this beautiful work ! Greetings from France.
