Is there such a word as "stunningest" as in "stunning, stunninger, stunningest"?
If not there damned well ought to be!
We agree!
Very peaceful. I can hear the rustle of leaves in the trees. Perhaps a train in the distance. Reminds me of west Oxfordshire and Berkshire villages just after the war.
Thank you Peter. Definitely the sound of a train in the distance! We are really pleased it brings back memories for you of the villages of an age gone by. Please stay tuned for more videos throughout the year.

A lovely stroll through a lost time. The sound of nature and the buildings created with local materials... Totally believable. Thank you and once again, I so look forward to seeing it all for myself and hopefully meeting some of the team who have built and care for this special layout. Blessings

This is indeed a 'unique walk through the Pendon diorama'. A real marvel ! Outstanding photography and very interesting in-depth commenting. Great to see all the details on and around the buildings. Most revealing and inspiring. And life sure was hard in those days but the natural beauty was a peaceful and in harmony with men's striving. We can learn so much from this past. Thanks very much for sharing this most enjoyable initiative ! Kind regards, Filip
Thank you Filip. Your kind comment is much appreciated by our team and we are so pleased that you enjoyed this very special video, which brings the village to life.
Thank you. A wonderful idea, neatly following on from the actual village walks. Camera work is superb, and ably shows off the model makers skills. The scene of Duck's store from the church yard could have taken from the same spot in Meriden in Warwickshire. There is a timber framed farm house with herringbone brick work and leaded windows opposite its church! All these beautiful details we can only see in photos, the butcher's apron and his meat, harnesses in the shed. My long time favourite is Zippy's stable. I will look forward to more of these episodes. Once again thank you 👍👍👍
