I usually don’t watch “Disney killed Star Wars” content because they end up being 3 hour videos centered around the “woke agenda” and isn’t a fair critique on the actual product. The length of this video perfectly synced with the time of my walk home from the gym so I said what the hell and watched it. Do I agree with everything? No. Reasonable people can have different opinions. What I can say is that it was fair. There was no talk of woke agendas and pandering which shouldn’t be included in criticism of big budget kid movies/shows anymore than it should be in praise of them. Respect to the creator.

I think it was actually a really smart decision to reuse the theme song from GOT. Many of the best long running shows the throughout history have reused the same music because it sort of provided an auditory watermark and can set the stage and tone for the story about to be told. Reusing the GOT theme song tells viewers exactly what they are getting into, while the visuals provide clues to who the characters are and their role in the show. Another really great show that reuses its theme music is Doctor who! Thats the show that got Matt Smith launched into stardom in the 2010s! Doctor who has been airing since like the 1950s and one of the most genius things they’ve done is reuse the theme music with slight alterations. It’s exciting music, it gets the sci-fi theme and tone across to the audience, and it leaves you craving more. Likewise, the GOT music sounds serious and courtly with a hint of mystery, and again, it leaves you wanting more. I think reusing theme music can be genius when used for long running or iconic series! Again, it really makes them stand out as a sort of auditory watermark.

I didnt like minus one, it looked like a toy, walking like a toy would walk, slow. Didnt care if the characters lived or died either. Plus Godzilla v a lil boat, naaa. Hoolywood has made 4 Godzilla movies better than that. It was good for what they have.praying for Japan, it looks like Godzilla came through.

Everything about the movie was great expect for humen Characters, Japanese are horrible actors, he can't act, also stop comparing with Hollywood Godzilla two of them have different tones to them both of them are equally great

Godzilla isn’t necessarily a “force of evil” more than he is a result of evil. The nuclear bombs hurt more than they solved anything. The destruction on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was unnecessary. And the Bikini Atoll tests were insult to injury. Especially after the Lucky Dragon #5 incident that resulted because of the Atoll tests. Godzilla is the result of such evil acts being performed. And he doesn’t know what else to do other than destroy and lash out. He’s a scared Mother Nature lashing out at her children who hurt her immensely and betrayed her. But it’s being directed at the wrong children. He’s a force of nature manifested as an animal. He’s the nuclear bomb made flesh. He doesn’t know that what he’s doing is evil, all he knows is that he’s scared and angry and the only way he knows how to retaliate is by destroying everything that’s in his way. He’s a force of nature. He’s not evil, he’s just an animal. And there’s nothing evil about nature.

To anyone watching this in the future, the Jon Snow spin-off got shelved. In my honest opinion, instead of a TV show, they should adapt it into a game where you play as Jon Snow. How would that look? I saw a video on CZcams a while ago of a Game of Thrones concept trailer made in Unreal Engine (4 or 5, can't remember). It looked fantastic. So I thought, why make it a TV show and not a video game? Assuming they have a rough idea of the storyline before shelving it, it's not too late to do something like this. The gameplay could be similar to The Witcher 3.

I still disagree Hollywood still made quality movies

It’s good , best Godzilla movie. Could have used maybe just one more scene or two of Godzilla in action though to break up the human drama. It has the best writing of a movie I’ve seen in a long time, just a little over acting and cheese but by far the best Godzilla movie. Ive seen them all too , big fan 👍 the recent Japanese incarnations of Godzilla are awesome, and I love the direction they are going with re writing his backstory over and over in creative ways, making it kind of a trope. Shin Godzilla is especially interesting take on the character. Great time to be a fan !a series that has grown up with me and matured along side myself. Still remember the drop kick, jet jaguar and flying Godzilla from my childhood 😂

My only complain is the cgi, but really, even if the movie should ended in 1989, I enjoyed the movie, specially the time travel scene, but I LOVE the train scene.

I’m really impressed that this movie got me to care about the characters and story so much. They give you the human Side of the story before godzilla becomes a huge deal in the show so whenever you see him on screen you aren’t rooting for him. You are terrified of him. Because you don’t want him to kill any human characters because they feel like real people and Godzilla also feels so real in this movie.

To be a little fair to the force for greater good depiction of Godzilla in Legendary'd movies, Godzilla in like 98% of his media has always been either a straight up good guy or a somewhat "antihero" because Godzilla for the majority of his movies has just been Ultraman but from the perspective of a kaiju that is making sure they're at the top of the food chain. Very rarely do we get straight up evil Godzillas like Shin and Minus One

In Godzilla Minus One, Godzilla was the villain and the humans, more focused around that mc, were the good characters. And the plot included war, which is a good setup for showing human interactions and struggles. Meanwhile in the Hollywood Godzilla movies, he is shows as the good character and he is also the mc of the entire verse, at least before they added Kong to the movies. And this began after the 2014 Godzilla. Minus One Godzilla is like a wild animal. The Hollywood Godzilla and the other kaiju are creatures with somewhat human consciousness. They show us they have emotions like pride, confusion, anger, and so much other. Watch the Hollywood Godzilla like you watch Fast and Furious movies, just turn your brain off and enjoy whatever is on the screen.

Visually it was really good, the story, even for Gudzilla, was not great. I was hoping to like it more. That being said still better than Legendary movies.

Not only hollywood, tv series, videogames, comics, etc. almost all entertainment industries have these problems. We want entertainment to escape reality not constantly reminded of them. Let fantasy be fantasy. If you can differentiate fantasy and reality it was once called insanity, but western entertainment industry seems to eanted it to be normal. They all go insane.
