These guides are so helpful. I saw so many videos about anno 1800. I spend almost 165 hours into this game since i bought it a week ago. And never made it to the partisans.😅😢😢😢

This just talks about how to make more money... i'm trying to learn where the fluctuations come from. As far as I can tell, everything is stocked... but my profit keeps going from +5k to -5k - very often.

I am a 90% disabled veteran and been in a rut like this for a while. The reality is this happens to the best of us. I try and play Anno with my friends and then suddenly i get direct x issues.

Ow I feel you, I'm in a rut right now and kinda have been since a year! I've tried CS2 when it launched, it didn't click. I've tried different games, it just didn't click. I was really excited for Dragons Dogma 2, I've played it like a week and then I fell off... I don't know what is happening either, I rather watch youtube and see other people play and excel at building cities then building them myself...

Ah. I have a route to each island and to the main island.

Sometimes, you just need to step back. I too sometimes have this, and then watching others play games like Coh or on Twitch does help. I am also into E-sports IE: CSGO and Pubg...watching them not playing them....used to. Just get something else to do....then step back into it again. PS: I also find that the game innovation is lacking...it seems people are more interested in the FPS and Graphics fidelity than having a good story. RTS is in a slump...nothing new...it needs some fresh ideas. Good luck man! have a great week.

Epilepsy forces limited time gaming for me, it does help keep enjoyment and interest in a game. The forced time off gives me a chance to think about strategies and directions to take my game; which in turn gives me the enthusiasm to go back to a game I'd quickly get bored of. Do what's right for you.

I hear ya! Same here, over all my games currently. I look at them all a think erm...NOPE! I've been watching CZcams. It's cold here so can't really do anything outside. /sigh 🙂

Currently in a gaming rut.. some 2 weeks currently..

My advice, get a bicycle and get out and ride around. Not an e-bike, just a mountain bike and start getting out. Even on neighborhood streets. Great exercise and great for clearing your head. Do it every day you can for half an hour to an hour. You need a change and a change of pace. Just do it ! ✌👍

i do have that feeling and a lack of time to do what I want because of work, so it's "easier" to watch other people's videos! when it's time to play well, it's time to go to bed or do some home chores. but I'm on vacation now so I'm planing to start again! that and the "what's the point of doing videos when there is soooo many videos already on CZcams!" feeling! but that's me! plus I'm french Canadian so it's even harder to make content in my langage for my own country because here "people" don't really enjoy that kind of stuff and even if European people can watch my stuff it's still not enough for me to make a living out of it and my English is ok but not good enough to make vids so yeah! let's watch other people's videos in the meantime! 😎

No one would could blame you for taking a break to regroup... I think it's gonna take a really special game to respark your interest... I think we all know what that game would be 😊

jep, for a time i could only watch lets plays bc of GPU so i never startet again till yesterday. Got me a good GPU beforehand and got Anno 1800 on steam summer sale complete ed. And just started and tried to remember your vids. Next stop OLED.

Wauw thx for this simple explanation of the game when starting.❤😅 I failed soooooo many times, its ridiculous. I never made it to artisans. And i have played already of 150 hours into this game from when i bought it. 😅 I started over so many times that it questioned my sanity and motivation of this game, but its sooo addictive to play.😂 I searched on so many forums and on CZcams how to play this game and to find a simple explanation of how this game works. I have ADD so multitasking is a bit of a challenge for me. 😅 I get overwhelmed by all the features and menus and statistics in the game. And what i needed was a simple (keep it stupid simple) explanation of how the basics work in this game. Thx for that. I subded.

Dont you need 34, not 32 steel beams to get to Artisans? 20 for School, 12 for soap and 2 to upgrade one Worker residence to Artisan?

Ijust got this Game on PS+ Premium. I have no effing option for a Spinnery/Framework!!!! I also do not have an option for a Distillery! This Game is driving me effing crazy, man. Why do these Games have suck at telling you how to do things/how things work? Kinda like how you just flew through that s++, not even showing how you choose those building types. So I figured out the Spinnery, but there's no similar option to build the Distillery. No contextual way, nothing.

Great stuff, this helped me out being a newcomer to the game.

Hi. I had buy the basic Anno 1800 from steam. I did tried to make a folder but the mod option did not pop up in game. Have you encountered this issue?

You know speaking of Chicago the small el station reminds of the Cicero station on the lake street el on the green line on the west side of the city while the other one gives me that coney island terminal vibes since it has business just like the one in real life. And by the way speaking of El stations those can also be used for NYC and Philadelphia.

This is the best layout in game, it is still effecient, plenty of room for decorations everywhere , and it looks good. And its easy to fit anything in. Also very friendly to begginer as they unlock new buildings they all fit in, all they need to do is move a few houses much less moving than most other layouts, thanks man 👌👍

I am a bit late to the party and maybe I have overlooked it, but do you have also made Stamps for Building Material Chains? (Bricks, Steel, Concrete, Windows), perhaps also some for a Weapons? Your Stamps for the Consumer Goods have helped me so insanely much, don't know if I am asking for too much at this point lol

i just looked into anno 1800 again for a long time. I found out that mods are now included! I didnt expect ubisoft to threat games that good. I only used spice up in the past. It seems that the collection is now split up in the ingame modhub, am i right?

Isn't buying shares the best thing to do when sitting on a bunch of cash, as the share value will go up as the AIs develop their islands. I bought shares worth 500k, which grew to being worth over £10m worth. I prioritise buying Beryl's as she progresses island development most aggressively, just be mindful not to buy shares in too many of her islands as she'll declare war.
