He was in the best car with RB focussing their efforts to ensure he won or at least finished in front of his team mate. How successful was he when he left Red Bull? How successful now is the team he joined after Red Bull? How successful is the team he joined after Ferrari since he left and was replaced by Fernando Alonso? I cannot fathom why vettel is revered as he is. He was not a great F1 driver, nor was he a great campaigner for whatever civil rights issue there may have been in any country that featured an F1 race weekend. Ya can't protest an event in which you take part because you are actually endorsing the event and that country's laws as set down by their Gov't. But hey, you and shamilton get the exposure.
