I have this fork and it is better than entry level for relatively small jumps etc. You can easily buy 3rd party ZTTO seals and felt rings for it for basic maintenance You didn't mention how fiddly the qloc axle can be.

Mary Gibbard is a great place for a little jump session! It seems a little different every time I ride it. I live in Goshen so typically we ride Bonneville in Bristol, TK Lawless or Meyer Broadway both in Three Rivers Michigan or drive out to Potato Creek in North Liberty. Meyer Broadway on a Sunday is my favorite “local” trail. New Subscriber here 🙋🏻‍♂️ Keep up the great content and awesome attitude.

How tall are you and what size stoic? Did you go with what size they recommended ? They suggested a M for me but all my bikes are L. So I went large. Hopefully it’s not TO big. Can always adjust seat and stem. (My 2023 stoic shipped today)

Stoked for ya man! You’re getting some style. I just ordered my 2023 stoic 3. Shipped today. Can’t wait. I’ll be swapping out a lot of parts. My goal is a 30lb or lighter all mtn hardtail. Riding my sentinel gets boring cause it’s an amazing bike that eats the steeps and makes you feel like a better rider. But you also get into trouble really , REALLY fast with it. The hardtail makes you a better smother rider. Again. Stoked for you. Cheers.

I bought the same bike as you I have a question when it arrives will I have to inflate the shock absorber or will it already be pumped at the factory ?

How does it perform on the climbs? Im looking for my first "real" MTB and i love just going out and riding in my local area which has so technical trails but also some very steep climbs would you still recommend this bike? (Or the stoic 4?)

Came on here to watch you video review of the Canyon Stoic 2 which in turn led me to this video and so glad I did. I just got my 2023 Stoic 2 this afternoon and for it being my first mountain bike I must say you got me pretty hyped and feeling I made a good purchase. I look forward to hitting the trails. You should do a service video on this fork. I have a Stoic 2 as well and have found the fork to be pretty decent, but I'm curious if it can be improved with any internal mods.

This is the review ive been looking for, Someone that has upgraded from a "basic" MTB to a premium entry level bike. All the others i've seen are people that have been on very expensive bikes and felt like theyre werent true reviews. You my bro have helped me on my decision of buying the Stoic. much appreciated!
