First MTB Ride of the Year! (Same Canyon Stoic // New Truck!)

- FINALLY! My first trail ride of the year! I had a blast riding my Canyon Stoic at Rum Village MTB Trails in South Bend, IN with my bro-in-law Brandon! I even had a great timing driving there in my new Ford F-150 with my new Dakine Pickup Pad!
My name's Tyler and I love mountain biking! I live in the Midwest United States (not typically known for great MTB riding) and I want people to know that us riders here in the Midwest are awesome too! We don't need huge downhill trails to have a good time! I just got a brand new 2021 Canyon Stoic 2, and this bike has got to be the best hardtail of the year! At least for the price. So I'd at least say the best budget-friendly hardtail of the year! I'm stoked to be able to share it with you guys. I'm also stoked to ride it this summer and let you guys know how it goes!

Hey man, so I just got my canyon stoic 2 in and the derailer is bent and canyon said all they would do is do 30 bucks towards fixing it. This is my first MTB and so far not to happy
Oh man, that’s such a bummer! I’ve never heard of that happening right out of the box. =\ Well I hope that’s the biggest issue you have with the bike and everything else is awesome!
So was it hard to get out there on the trails for the first time after your last time out?
Surprisingly no! My new job has been keeping me in good shape so I wasn’t even hardly tired!
This bike is quite capable. How does the frame feels? Isn't it too stiff?
I love the bike for just about everything except for super chunky and/or rocky stuff. That’s the only time I feel it’s a little stiff.

This is a good bike to climb too?? is not much heavy?
Yea it’s pretty good on the climbs too. Its definitely not too heavy. I put in a dropper post which makes it a lot better too.
