CRAZY Bike Park Day on My Canyon Stoic! // Little Switz

- I took my SICK Canyon Stoic 2 hardtail to Little Switz Bike Park. It was amazing and horrible at the same time! I had a blast riding some huge features and then had my day cut short by a gnarly crash. Definitely my worst crash ever! All in all, I'm still glad I went and will definitely be back next year!
My name's Tyler and I love mountain biking! I live in the Midwest United States (not typically known for great MTB riding) and I want people to know that us riders here in the Midwest are awesome too! We don't need huge downhill trails to have a good time! I just got a brand new 2021 Canyon Stoic 2, and this bike has got to be the best hardtail of the year! At least for the price. So I'd at least say the best budget-friendly hardtail of the year! I'm stoked to be able to share it with you guys. I'm also stoked to ride it this summer and let you guys know how it goes!

And my hats off to you for experiencing someone else's terrible actions, but then following it up by absolutely saving my day with lending me (a relative stranger) a tire plug! Dude! I thought I replied to this ages ago but apparently I never did. Yea it was quite unfortunate, but super thankful because it could have been way worse. I’m still off my foot 4.5 weeks later with a torn ligament and nerve damage, but hopefully I’ll be able to start walking again within another few weeks! And haha yea no worries about the tire plug!
if you think about it, you should let me know the next time you’ll be riding Little Switz/southern WI - it would be fun to meet up and ride!

Thanks buddy!! Yea I’m doing fine, just have to ride on one of those knee scooters for a while. I’m 4.5 weeks in. I guess it could be another few weeks until I can walk. Not ideal, but definitely thankful, it could have been way worse!

But please if you hit stuff this big Upgrade your fork a little bit just a rockshox 35 Gold would be enogh i have broken an sr fork under me ....not fun and the 35 Gold is arround 350 bucks New
i dare you its a driffrence in riding and feeling the ground like nigth to Day i have a stioc 3 and Upgraded from an rockshox reccon silver rl 140 to a 35 Gold it was awesome (now i have a lyric select with 170 mm but that is a bit overkill🤣) but please please please for your own saftey just a little Upgrade (i dont say sr forks are Bad they are most defently not but the one on the stoic is in my eyes at least questionoble for the rating of the bike wich is 4 whats Equal to trail and enduro bikes)
