- #maplehill I took my SICK Canyon Stoic 2 hardtail to Maple Hill Mountain Bike Trail in Kalamazoo, MI. This is a professionally built flow trail in lower Michigan. Wonder if it's any good? Watch to find out!
My name's Tyler and I love mountain biking! I live in the Midwest United States (not typically known for great MTB riding) and I want people to know that us riders here in the Midwest are awesome too! We don't need huge downhill trails to have a good time! I just got a brand new 2021 Canyon Stoic 2, and this bike has got to be the best hardtail of the year! At least for the price. So I'd at least say the best budget-friendly hardtail of the year! I'm stoked to be able to share it with you guys. I'm also stoked to ride it this summer and let you guys know how it goes!

If it has a square tapered bottom bracket it's an inherent design flaw. Once the crank works a bit loose, it bends the metal, and then it's unable to stay tight, bending more and more until the crank can only stay tight for a few minutes at a time. I have had three different cranks on my bike, and I would recommend just replacing the bottom bracket altogether.
Thanks man, I’ll keep that in mind if I have any other issues. I haven’t had any problems since I replaced the crank bolt.

this trail reminds me a lot like a local trail near me but it has a lot more wooden features and a 3 meter wall ride

Was the crank arm breaking before or after you got the FSA bolt? My Stoic 2 is on the way and I ordered the same FSA bolt. They should both be here this week.
It was breaking for I got the FSA bolt. It’s been great ever since getting the new bolt! 👍
