it's really good camouflage... for here!, in vietnam they apparently didn't take into account completely different terrain, plant species, the humidity, even the color of the dirt because what a coincidence that by the time 40k casualties were mounting up the in the early 70's, the DOD was like, "hey, wait a minute!, I think we need some better camouflage for our guys out there!"

Woodland is great , I like finding the different types of woodland the pattern being blown up to 85 % for Europe for example .the shapes of woodland reduced to 35 % are better . larger shapes draw the eye during movement so the smaller your woodland shapes similar to ERDL the better in my opinion. 1976-78 Central American brown dominant ERDL in combination with woodland M-81 works well also. My favorite is subdued Urban woodland no white, just greys , greens , and black, in combination with woodland M-81 forget about it.

Chocolate chip is good for attachment of ghillie material for ghillie suit your bottom layer looking like dirt rocks and pebbles lying prone , I used to in fall and winter sometimes with a woodland top , 100% Cotton or 50/50 cotton/ nylon. Great gear 👍
