In the areas where you are not directly contrasting with the bright green leaves behind you, it is outstanding camouflage. It's clearly not mean to blend with bright green, but everywhere else it's awesome. I have some of their stuff, but I am going to have to pick up more. Love the backpack.
Very efficient pattern with a very good color paletter. Despite being a transitional pattern it works really well in the woods specially mixing with the shadows of the trees. So great to still watch you testing new pattern after all these years!
And this is really a solid, detailed and realistic review. I'm sure many are interested in the quality associated with mil-tec.
Well, mil-tec is first of all cheap, it is produced in Germany, it tries to be available to everyone for little money.
The quality is of course not at the level of 5.11 products, but here I have their ACU and BDU pants and shirts for 7 years without any damage, I have been using the mil-tec backpack in OD Green color every day for 8 years, it has traces of use but is not damaged. That's why I think mil-tec is the best budget option in terms of price and quality. This is just my opinion, from my experience, of course I will respect you if you had a different experience.
👍👍 awesome as always! Thanks so much for bringing us great content!
Right, this camo is quite badass, MIL-TEC seem to have delivered something interesting. This camo seems to blend in really well in this environment, really pushing the bar on some of the best we've seen on this channel and that's a lot of contenders by now.
That backpack seems to have a couple of features which my older style MIL-TEC backpack doesn't have, so that's cool. I am looking into getting a set of these, just waiting for a proper size boonie. And a helmet cover.
Thanks for the review and effort!
Seriously though. I'm having trouble seeing him even when I know where he is.
Man for a camouflage fan like myself. This is the channel to watch .
Top-notch camo replacement for multicam in N. America during dry seasons.
Great video. You certainly have the makings of a great salesperson. Great walk around and explanation of the benefits. I think camo is pretty good. Two things to consider: One, stay absolutely still. Two, stay as low to the ground as possible. More effective in the shadows for sure. Have an excellent week sir!
All the bags looks pretty effective and good volume and the uniform blends in very well 💯❤️❤️❤️
Looks effective. Still love my tiger stripes but this would be a useful addition to the camo toolbox.
Amazing! Thank you for the content.
Solid pattern!!! Good stuff brother
Awesome thanks for sharing Brent
Its great camo , have the same poncho in the UK, reccomend it it for photographing wildlife
GOOD STUFF! I need to get out there and do an ATACS FG in my area soon. I would love to see how Realtree MAX-1 does in your area and I think a lot of your viewers might have some of it so they might be interested too!
An excellent pattern in my opinion. Resembles nature pretty good, even on the move
Once again excellent kit from this company very effective blend in no excess flare in sunlight effective even with little foliage. This would work well in Australia. Their Mini Cammo net is a bonus.
i had the same thought for the pattern considering the unique colours of Australia's native scrub and bush. can't attest to the kit quality though, everything i've personally gotten from miltec has been cheap junk
The basic color template reminds me of the old Rhodesian brushstroke camo, like a digitized version of it
Very effective in my opinion, with the exception of contrasting with bright green foliage. Mil-Tec makes some good gear. I have their Flektarn smock, it has boatloads of pockets, hood , and foliage tie downs. I can carry enough gear in it for a rapid response scenario.
Great Pattern!
i know you do a lot of gear videos and camouflage effectiveness demonstrations, so naturally I find that you’re qualified to help me answer this question. Have you had any experience taking coyote brown gear and brightening it up to be dyed like a tan or taupe? I’m using a Condor 7 pocket chest rig for reference.
I can’t keep up! So many great patterns nowadays. Love BDU’s. Been using them 30+ years. I have complete sets of Camo in Woodland, Three Color Desert, ACU, OCP plus all the associated associated assault, medium and large rucks, butt packs and pouches. I have the Digital Woodland (MARPAT) clothing and the assault pack but no FILBE or Digital Desert. ABU uniform but no accessories. Think if I ever wear everything just once it’ll take a while!
Reminds me of CONCAMO. Looks good
Hey Brent, what is your opinion on dropping packs while performing IMTs /patrol base operations in an asymmetric/militia context? Considering the lack of logistical support, and life sustaining gear that is generally carried on the back instead of on LBE may make it worth keeping a pack on.
Looks great. Tricky to spot.
CONGRATULATIONS
THANKS FOR SHOWING ..EXCELLENT
Thank you😺
Miltec rocks! Its budget friendly and makes quality items. I got theit JPC and i am really really suprised. I wish you could review it so a lot of people could see how well made it is.
That pack is almost identical to my next to latest pack. Made by Redrock in coyote. It was a great pack and lasted a few years of daily use.
Can you do the new German special forces camo Multitarn?
That's a good pattern.
This one might be one of the most effective patterns we've seen you showcase yet. I'd be interested to see their Z3 (the lighter "winter" type pattern) and how well that one works.
awesome camo
Can you do Origin’s camo?!
Amazing stuff
Another amazing camo pattern. I had a tough time spotting Brent0331 in most of the settings.
Damn I really like that camouflage almost like ghillie suit camo for like 50 yard distance without animals or bad guys seeing you 👍
What LBE are you using in this video brent?
Good video. God bless. From Glenn CATT. In Massachusetts.
Does it come in plaid flannel?
Wondering if you could possibly try Bosnian Serb lizard print camo, or Yugoslav M89 patterns of camouflage. Just a suggestion, love the stuff!
Do you know if the unifiorm has IR compliance?
Towards the end of these videos when he makes us play wheres Waldo I'm always scanning to see if I spot him before he pops a shot.
Do we know where to get the plate carrier yet?
Colors are so splotchy. They did a fine job.
Nice camouflage
Hey Brent, monstrum has a quad rail extension for that rifle that goes past the front sight post it's about 12" long and works perfectly with that AR platform with the fixed front sight post it's on sale right now for $44.99 I got myself one and it's perfect and gives you a little more room for fun attachments and a further up forward hand grip fyi
Das Freut Mich Grüss aus Heilbronn in Baden Württemberg ist ja nicht weit von Stuttgart Entfent. alles in Baden Württemberg.
Good stuff.
I would love to see sone romanian/polish parsley camo its such a odd camo suit especially in American greenery
Where i can buy these camouflages?
Yessssss !
I've been having a hard time sourcing good camo. I want a non military pattern. I find a pattern that would work excellent for utah and Idaho, but then bam. Unavailable in medium long. Hell, I'd take medium. Atacs AU seems too sandy colored and FG is too green. Pentacamo, pencott, ect. Been searching for months.
Theres a problem with sun shining on DPM especially pack-covers & multicam pack-covers.
At certain angles of light... all pattern & coloration goes out the window leaving just a light object to blow your cover.
Solution - 3D texture which has real shadow even in direct sun.
Like Camo netting (multicam camo netting is quite effective in open terrain).
Or attaching vegetation.
A pack-cover can only contrast with an environment if its the correct tone (not too heavy or light).
The best 3D texture is vegetation.
The best Camo is echo-sourced vegetation which is both 3D & contrasting.
I put a scrim net over packs to attach echo-sourced vegetation like fishing net or golf net or bird net. Something durable.
Pack-covers are really just a base colour for contrasting.
You still need to deal with the problem of sun shining.
I can choose wether to use a pack-cover for base color then a net on top to attach foliage... or just simply use a net over the bergen to attach foliage.
If the pack isn't a camouflaged pattern or if the pattern is too heavy for the environment... thick foliage can work.
Its best though to be able to use thin foliage... so a base colour is worth considering, but is comprising extra weight & size.
Brent is awsome. Thankyou for your videos.
Commando spirit
Where do I buy this?
looks great for the northeast environment.
오오오 위장력 따봉!!
Brent0331 ab Minute 4.41, Backpanel Zipper Molle Adapter = Backpanel Backpag. :)
Thanks for sharing! :)
Where’s camo Waldo?
WWASP 1 Z2 looks a little dark for the terrain. Pretty good in the shadows and next to trees. MIL-TEC gear durable enough for regular field use?
@@donr444 Isn't mil-tec who produces the Phantom leaf gear? The stuff I got from Germany was excellent quality.
@@huwhitecavebeast1972 I had a pair of boots from them once, super stiff and uncomfortable even after plenty of wear cross-country. I had several pants from them, with buttons coming off, seams tearing (pockets and crotch), and velcro just disintegrating to where it won't even do its job anymore.
BDUs work. And the crotch doesn't rip. Just wished they had shoulder pockets.
Nice video, you never thought to test some full grey solid color uniform in the field? looks like you have already a nice grey plate carrier. The IDF use the grey uniform for some units and the Austrian army use full grey uniform as well. I always thought that the grey is one of the best solid color for camouflge but looks like it is very fameless since ucp or maybe the people relate it to the nazis.
They do not use solid grey. They use a solid color uniform in a shade that is very similar or even identical to either 2nd version of ranger green or RAL 7013. It's a dull olive green mixed with a bit of grey and maybe a bit of earth brown added, but definitely not a solid gray color. Also Austrian Army actually decided to adopt a camouflage patterned uniforms in 2017.
@@hakari5014 i know it have some color added but to my eyes is still grey, can be nice to compare what is better full grey or grey with a bit of color. Lets see how the new austrian camouflage works, at least they did their own pattern and not again multicam haha.
Sizing? What do you recommend? Does it run small? Is it in European sizes where their size large is our size medium?
I'd say size up from normal U.S. BDU size. Especially if you're a taller person that gets the long size. These are all regular, no long. So for me, I wear a large long BDU, but ordered an XL to accommodate for it.
@@Brent0331 thanks! Your channel is awesome! Ever think of writing a book? Keep up the excellent content!
Made of polyester? Doesn't that mean it glows under NV? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?
You can tell 1st dude is a real US soldier by the way he creases his boonie hahaha. In the Army everyone I see takes their PCs and creases that shit so hard the ends touch. Some guys at FTX got their asses handed to them because they rolled their PT around a couple towels then tied it all down with 550 to give their PCs a bigger crease
Miltec gerade angeschrieben - Backpanel Zipper Molle Adapter - 10.09.2023. Wir alle wollen doch gute Gear. Arbeiten wir zusammen.
I just wish a better company produced good kit in this pattern. Mil-Tec doesn't make bad stuff but their stuff isn't NIR compliant and is kind of on-par with Condor for durability.
I have used their products and they are amazing for their price. Budget friendly but also very very durable. I hope they will NIR them
@moderncrusader9882 yeah, they're not bad products. I doubt they'll make them NIR though, would likely up the production cost for them and thus the price for us.
Wish mil-tec was doing better quality stuff. Owned plenty of their stuff in the past, it just never lasts long.
Can you do one on Ukrainian camouflage effectiveness?
What am i supposed to see?
looks like they wanted to copy Concamo. I prefer their other one, where they tried to copy Pencott Greenzone.
Here in germany Mil-tec were often called Müll-tec (Müll = garbage) because of theirs often produced poor quality. Many greets from the old world!
Yeah they are not very good quality wise but hopefully with this partnership they improve standards
Un caramayola con la machila
Dude! You are breaking up even in introduction, close to camera!
By the way, I swapped some words with Mil-Tec PR people and they claim ACU style gear in WASP camo are coming in the near future.
they made new camo but not upgrade im very dissapointed about the backpack
wish they add
Large cargo capacity compartment with separate hydration pocket
Main compartment with double zipper pulls for easy access and gear tie-down straps
Body contour shoulder straps with D-Ring for attachment and sternum strap
Heavyweight webbing for modular attachments
4x side compression straps
3x heavy-duty carry and drag handle
Individual foam back panel for extra comfort and max airflow
Removable padded waist belt
Grommets on all compartments for drainage
I'm glad he's on our side 🇺🇸
