I would love to get this, simply because I love the duo making the content! However, I have camo coming out of my ears! I have camo scattered all over my house, my car, etc, so I don't know how she'd feel about me getting yet another! Lol! However, I do have a name suggestion for the pattern: "Partisan Rock Pattern"!
The white in that red dawn camo seems to blend in perfectly with the shine of leaves from the sun. It makes you blend into environments that dont have snow or white at all
Looks like an improved US woodland camo. Here in the South, faded US woodland works really well. It’s decent when it’s new, but the big black and dark brown splotches on it make a tad bit dark for my neck of the woods. Not a problem after it’s faded a bit, though. Y’all are definitely onto something with the camo top and the tan or olive green pants. Seems like a good combination. Great video!
Interesting. Thanks for the recommendations. Not a big fan of pixel camos, though AOR2 does look effective. I like Multicam, but don’t have anything in it. As far as camo, I mostly have woodland and khaki at the moment. I’m hoping to see if 3 color desert camo works during fall and winter when it’s more tan and brown than green. A lot of that 3 color desert stuff can be had at bargain prices, given how much was made in the 1990s and early 2000s.
@@lowlandnobleman6746 ucp camo dyed with rit apple green dye works really well in the southeast during spring and early summer. ive also come to really like mossy oak original bottomland camo.
I’ve been mumbling to myself for a long time for someone to take M81, tone down the black and dark drown and maybe thin those patterns out a bit. Then go a little heavier on the greens and lighter browns/tans. It’s about time someone listened to the voices in my head! This pattern is gorgeous! And to touch on what John was saying about the camo in “Lone Survivor”, I live in mid Atlantic Appalachia, and I use to deer hunt in chocolate chip desert bottoms and just a brown and tan flannel sherpa lined shirt. And sitting down behind a wall of leaves, you would not believe the deer and people that would walk up on me without seeing me.
I bet that does work great. In my part of the Blueridge we took old woodland and dyed it brown, walnut husks work awesome. Hard to spot in the fall leaves.
In the fall once the leaves are dead I pull out an LL Bean flannel in what looks like a desert version of duck hunter. It's shockingly effective in the dead leaves
I love this camouflage. It works well. As a Navy vet I got the tail end of the Woodlands until they switched to the nwu3's but we wore those before anyone else at SCW-1
Gentleman, that is one beautiful pattern. Even you guys standing talking in the intro it blends beautifully. Wolverine pattern for sure. Red Dawn was an awesome movie & one I grow up with here in the UK 🇬🇧. Excellent work 🙌
@AlphaCharlieConcepts. I’m really surprised I didn’t see you in one of our Florida Militia events/ meetings. I was in Charlie company (basically central from St. Pete to Vero) but we trained all over the state. You would’ve been a good asset.
Awesome, I thought it might be too bright, but it wasn't. Works nicely, it's also a cool design. Definitely has an armed resistance look to it with that hood on.
Great video and a very cool camo pattern. I do hope the name Wolverine Camo sticks. Seems very appropriate given the movie origins. Speaking of which, the 80's RED DAWN is the only one that counts... WOLVERINES!
I tell my friends and family to get themselves M81 woodland pants and tops because that in my opinion is the American militia/minuteman camouflage and easily identified by civilians and friendly forces... none of our enemies use that camouflage and none of our military/police forces use it aside from marsoc in certain situations. If your a prepared citizen it's ok to have multicam or OCP, or ranger green but you must have M81 woodland as well
agreed. I personally run m81 but will throw on ocp trousers in the fall when everything starts looking dead and brown. M81 and OCP combo is surprisingly effective.
Desert night camo is honestly more of a meme than a real camo. If you want good desert patterns, go with US six color desert or US tricolor desert. Multicam arid, desert tiger stripe, and desert flecktarn might also work, depending on area. That is of course, assuming you’re in either a desert or a forest in autumn with lots of brown leaves on the ground.
@@Military.FutureUrbanCamo DNC is cool for looking cool, not so much function. there are way better choices. theres a reason its considered a failure but still, its drippy
Love 0241 Tactical. Got an ATACS FGX pullover from him a few years ago. I'm also in Florida (Hernando County), at least for another 6 months. Hoping to go to MCAS YUMA next.
The woodland is my favorite , hands down! Glad I got plenty when I could, I believe it’s getting scarce. Really like the combo woodland top, od boonie and solid pants, for the pants I like gray , od green, dark brown. I vote Wolverines!
Seen a lot of your camo videos. The Vietnam era green sateens with slated chest pockets are my all time favorites. BDU woodland are just as great. We wont talk about the ACU camo the Army used for awhile. Those are a no go. This Wolverine camo does get my interest. May just get a set, or two. I seen some deer hunters use the Candy Apple green. It was worthwhile to redye those heavily discounted ACU's.
Still prefer the older larger patterns so really like this pattern. Yes, you can get American Woodland, British DPM at a good price but who knows for how much longer and the French have just stopped using CCE so im hoping there's a glut on the market and I can pick up some of those at cut price. Great pattern.
There's been a decent amount of French CCE showing up and I expect more as it works its way out of the warehouses and troops hands. It seems like a pretty good addition, and those CCE fleeces have no right to be as comfy as they are
BRENT0331, thanks for the observation regarding the M81 vs multicam at One Shepherd. I am here in Central NC and also used same up in the Catskills. We found, hunting buddies, that even the Tiger Stripe top with brownish tones or camo also became 'unseeable'.
On the point of multicam, I like the pattern. I think it's rare you'll find an environment it's the clear best choice for. But, I think it's reasonably effective in most environments, as was intended.
Although I love the pattern, I always thought that M81-type Woodland should totally omit the Black for a Med Grey. Grey does appear in nature far more often, & is still effective at creating shadow effects. I really feel that this alone would make the pattern nearly perfect, & allow it to work far better in almost every environment. Especially less wooded areas, & urban environments. Even the "Wolverine" pattern I believe would benefit from the use of Grey instead of Black.
Watching from mountains outside Lake Tahoe all of us mountain boys are lit Carson scouts dug in and Plenty of gold from our mines Good luck finding us Or rounding us Up
I like how with this one it also tests using a camo pattern jacket with a solid color pants combo. Something a guerrilla force with a minimal budget for uniforms might be forced to utilize

Red Dawn you guys needed two women Toni and Erica/ your wives in camo to join you in the video. I loved that movie i was a young man in the Infantry when that movie came out.
I like your videos but a problem is that it is always sunny. The backlighting and shadows make it hard to judge and where I live it is often overcast for weeks or even months at a time.
High contrast colors next to one another breaks up the shape , silhouette , shadows the best . Lower on the body clothes should reflect on ground color and above the waist area foliage that cuts the silhouette in half , like you said. So you take a knee to aim your blending some what. Smaller shapes work better and larger shapes draw the eye during movement.
These are 0241 Tactical TOP (tactical operators pullover) jackets. He takes orders in batches. He should be taking new orders again in January and these along with the zip up smock lites will be available again. The pattern will be listed on his website as “nonameh” .
Yep. They should definitely stick with "Wolverine Camo". They're not gonna come up with a better name than that - it has a symbolical significance (in how it's the American analogue of the "Russian" Red Dawn camo), it sounds cool, it's perfect.
I checked the 0241 website, trying to purchase a full kit in this pattern. All I see is a boonie hat. Will full kit be available for sale or was it just for the video?
