Light saber forms kind of just follow video game logic and are kinda dumb in real life. Could you redefine lightsaber forms for realistic combat in the star wars universe? So saber V saber, saber V mutiple sabers or double bladed saber, saber V multiple oponents, saber V blaster or multiple blasters, saber V mandalorian arsenal, saber V creatures, saber in war situations, ect. I guess these forms would chalk up to how would a saber/force user would handle these different situations

Meh, 6,000 is still cheap for a katana especially if this is a Japanese government recognized blade then I say it still too cheap

Yeah uh it makes sense if you think about it cause the only thing that has weight on a Lightsaber is the hilt not the blade cause of it being made of energy like Plasma for example so yeah they could easily make a Lightsaber with a longer and wider blade that is still easy to handle and just better overall it will still swing way faster then a normal real life sword but have a blade kind of like Cloud's buster sword but with literally no insane weight so it would be busted beyond belief Just like if you had a Lightsaber in the real world if you have it be able to spin like how the Inquisitor Lightsaber does you could have it spin in front of you at insane speeds that no other object could go cause it literally is probably lighter then a feather the blade I mean of course and you could easily block bullet's cause the Blaster's have a much faster projectile then Gun's do cause laser's are basically just deadly lights and light is insanely fast of course the laser's aren't that fast but they're most definitely faster then any bullet in our world which means the saber could easily block them But I do get that people don't have the force and all of that but I mean Bullet's are easy to melt by a Lightsaber so if you had it spinning in front of you at speeds that bullet's could get through at all then it would be perfect as a shield on like Vehicle's to block that stuff which would make them very deadly windshield wiper's and that isn't all you could screw using a blowtorch or whatever to get into a place just use a Lightsaber it easily melts through with how it uses extremely hot plasma which we have not even got close to yet in the real world well we've gotten pretty close but not close enough sadly

This is not a Western sword. You don't swing a Katana like a baseball bat. Considering how terrible your technique is (no offense), that is pretty impressive results. When wielding it two handed your hands should rotate, imagine your hands pivoting. If you are facing you target straight on, square up your stance, keep your feet shoulder width apart and bend your knees slightly. When you strike take a half-step forward with one foot and sink down slightly. If you time all of these movements together it will greatly increase the speed of the tip of the Katana. The Katana is a hand and half sword. Wielding it one-handed while two weapon fighting is not uncommon, you are correct in that you should use two hands for this exercise.

Something about the display and the two of you going back and forth about the fittings at different price points made this sound like a knife sale on the home shopping network. You should soak the mats for at least 24 hours, also one hand cutting with a katana is possible, just have to be more conscious of your biomechanics, youre using way too much arm movements whit the one hand strikes

The hidden blade is meant to be concealed until it is needed and because of the weird spot the hidden blade is on(forearm) it is much more likely that it will not be noticed or spotted when you are being patted down, and it is a assassination tool which is best suired for crowded areas. With the size of that guys dagger he is not likely to assassinate his target without being noticed or thought of as suspicious .

your horizontal cuts are like swinging a baseball bat... you need to be pulling in as you swing so that the katana ends in a position for a forward thrust - this will "slice" the mat, not chop it.

ah, finally I have time to watch this epos. :) there is a lot to see and find out about this castle, obviuously. also sorry to see the recent "restorations" with improper materials. here in germany they were even worse, "restoring" castles in late 919th century after what they thought was accurate, even if there were historical documents about what the buildings looked like. that destroyed a lot of historic material and everything, and nowadays nerds are fighting to get this remedied. needless to say it costs mind-numbing amounts of money. anyway, loved watching you and Ben go about the details and throwing each other balls. Ben surely loved to meet another nerd, especially one with knowledge and an eye for details. for example I'd have missed out on the graffitti etched into the stone... :) the several styles remind me of that "Burg Blaustein" castle made of bricks by german company BlueBrixx, which starts out with a small building on top of a rock, but you can buy additions. things that make it larger, add fortifications and so on. and every time you have to take down part of the castle and re-use most of the bricks you took off, just like in history.

In movies, the whole story will weave and turn according to the mood of the pictures and the sound. It would be a little bit difficult to do a tense or bloody drama set in a colourful castle, draped in gaudy shades of pink, yellow and green.

So... bard rams two throwing arms of a broken bow into broken pillars and then fires a spear? such a nonsense! on the one hand, the throwing arms would break out of the pillars faster than he beep could say. because this stupid construction will never withstand so much pressure by tightening the tendon. on the other hand, and this was already mentioned in the video, it would be impossible to fire the spear at this distance and then penetrate a target. Absolutely nonsense! Yes, I know: this is kintop. It's supposed to entertain. But that's really more than clumsy...
