Leeds v Norwich - view from the south stand
EFL Championship play-off semi-final second leg at Elland Road, Leeds. Leeds United 4-0 Norwich City. I'm not a football vlogger so no commentary or footage of the goals but here are some clips of the fantastic atmosphere we created. What a fantastic performance on and off the pitch. It was a superb night and one to remember. We all love Leeds.

Route des Grandes Alpes Cycle Tour
zhlédnutí 888Před 9 měsíci
In 2022, my brother John, his girlfriend Katie, our friend Ade and myself were about to tackle the whole of the Route des Grandes Alpes when devastatingly our John died just 6 days before we were due to start. It remains a devastating loss, and getting back on the bike has been really difficult. I decided to do just the first 5 days as a tribute to my brother, and because doing the whole route ...
Corrour Station to Glen Nevis Walk
zhlédnutí 2,3KPřed 2 lety
A superb train journey drops you off in the middle of the mountains! This route is 15 miles long and covers some beautiful and remote country in Scotland with rivers, streams, lochs, mountains, waterfalls and even 2 bothies if you want an overnight stay in a wild remote location. I took the 0744 train from Fort William to Glasgow and got off at Corrour station then walked back to Glen Nevis. I ...
The Lairig Ghru and a stay at the Corrour Bothy
zhlédnutí 3,9KPřed 2 lety
After almost 2 weeks of low cloud and rain in the West Highlands I went east, over to the Cairngorms to see if it was better there. I was feeling a bit low in mood on this trip and gave a few of my thoughts on solo hiking to the camera. It was a beautiful walk and a great stay in the atmospheric Corrour Bothy and despite feeling down I'm glad I did it and really, really love this film.
Grey Corries Ridge, Scotland

A traverse of the Grey Corries ridge including all 4 of the Munros. Starting at the Lairig and finishing in Glen Nevis, a stunning descent and highly recommended.
Liatach Ridge, Torridon, Scotland

The superb Liatach ridge in the Torridon mountains in Scotland. This is a traverse following the standard route from east to west, taking in 2 Munros and the exciting Am Fasarinen Pinnacles. A glorious summer's day with clear conditions.
Stob na Broige Winter 2020

Filmed on my iphone, I set off for Stob na Broige on Buaichaille Etive Mor a bit too late to make the summit in daylight so hung around at the bealach when the clouds cleared revealing the mountains in all their winter glory. I returned a month later and bagged the summit in much different conditions.
Wrynose and Hardknott Passes, Lake District, England 2019

24th August 2019. A no-thrills video of my ride up Wrynose and Hardknott Passes in the Lake District, England. This is mostly commentary on the climbs as I go along and not much footage of cycling the climbs themselves. It was an exhausting day, I came off the bike multiple times on the steep slopes of Hardknott, ran out of water after about 30 miles, left my wallet in the van and didn't even h...
Col du Galibier 2017

Another great day on our cycling holiday to the Alps. Today all of us are riding together up the Col du Galibier for Tour de France day. Well actually, nobody can ride with Waleed, he's too fast for us all! He's been very patient with us slow MAMILs! After a long - but spectacular - climb we were foiled by the gendarmerie just short of the summit who had just closed the road ahead of the riders...
La Toussuire 2017

La Toussuire is a ski resort in the Savoie region of the French Alps. As a town it's not too pretty in summer but it's a good cycle climb up from Saint Jean de Maurienne. Here I am with my brother John and friends Ade, Waleed, Shyam and Philipp, on a cycling holiday based in Saint Jean de Maurienne. It was a special day in that it was the 10th anniversary of my brother Tony's death, who was kil...
The Ledge Route on Ben Nevis

I did the Ledge Route on a fantastic day with cloud inversions and plenty of crisp snow to enjoy. It's a fantastic route for mountain walkers and scramblers looking to improve their winter skills and take them into easy winter rope climbs or scrambles. Brilliant day out.

You probably know what the Ring of Steall is already but for those who don't it's a superb walk in the Mamore mountains in Scotland. It takes in 4 Munros (Scottish mountains above 3,000 feet) and 3 tops (other mountain tops not classed as Munros) over 10 miles and 5,600 feet of ascending. Beautiful views all the way around, I did it on a fine day in September. Music courtesy of You Tube Audio L...

Fantastic mate, inspiring. Had a great local walk yesterday but nothing on this scale 😂
No worries. I think there weee two lads. I have my son in other fans film but none are of the quality of yours. I was just hoping!
No his name is Louie. He was soaken wet and hat Tesco bags on his feet. Sang Longview
I had a comment from a Ryan who said he was the lad in the film on stage. I didn't film another lad on stage, just the one in this video.
My son sang on stage that night, any footage?
Is he called Ryan? Think I put footage of the lad who went on stage in this film, check it...
Can you let us know the trekking company.
What an inspiring video, beautiful views and the best, you put your brother’s memory on top of those mountains. Chapeau!
Thank you mate. I certainly did!.
That looked like an amazing climb. I’m going to Ben Nevis in July and want to attempt the Ledge route climb. I want to do some winter climbing too but I’ll worry about finishing my ML first. Thanks for sharing
Thanks. Go for it. And have a great time,.
What an atmosphere 💙💛🤍
Makes you proud to be a Leeds fan. Brilliant scenes.
Why sing Ashley barns is fucking shit? 😅
Hey man awesome work. How experienced do you have to be to complete such a trek. I’ve done a few 12000ft treks.
great night. needs to be repeated at Wembley
Really nice video, I’m thinking of doing this later this year, have heard that the ride back down the east coast from John O Groats is best avoided, your experience seems to confirm that !
Yes, the A9 past Wick was horrible!! There are alternatives from Thurso, missing John O'Groats out. Have a great ride.
@@Buzzard1968 Accommodation booked for three of us for the first week in September and we will be heading south at Melvich, going to take it fairly steady over 7 days, really looking forward to it.
Awesome video of this route which im going to attempt 15 May 24. You didnt mention midges - were there any?
Thank you. I did the walk in October. There are no midges in October. The midge season is June to early September. It should be midge free when you do it.
👍
What an awesome video! Never get tired of these.
Great video but you a first class irresponsible cyclist who does not understand closure, personally i think you should be fined for this behaviour..........
im sorry mate but the leader seems like a chode
For Ama Dablam which is "only" 400m higher climbers spending average 30days...not sure why most trekking company expecting their client to reach summit on day 8...most people will fall out if they coming from sea level..i understand the business part which is quick turnaround times=more client during the season..my personal opinion people who go private at their own pace have much higher success rate then those who sign up for groups to save 200-300$..my point is when the guide said we are here for the group not for individual goals...ive been most of the trekking peaks and if you wanna enjoy the journey better you gave yourself a good 20-25 days for proper acclimatization...unless you coming from a different mountain where you acclimated already
Great video , I'd love to do this walk - amazing scenary
Thank you.
exposure = danger fantastic exposure = fantastic danger I can really recommend it??? These days you can get zero danger, extreme exposure and better footage using a drone.
Good luck getting your drone to fly to the top of Ben Nevis from the visitor centre
Your brother would be proud!
Thank you.
Thanks for a great little film it seems to have captured your trip well. I look forward to watching more of your movies.
wonderful film which camera you used to film this ?
Thank you. I used a Panasonic GH4, which is an old but brilliant camera. For the summit shots only I used an old GoPro 3.
@@Buzzard1968 great probably I am going to Mera peak on this November and your Film help me a lot to make my plan and I have buy latest diji action 4 for Film I hope this camera will work properly in that altitude and super cold place 🙏 anyway thanks for your Film and reply .
@@sureshrijal790 excellent! Have a great expedition. And I hope you get a great film.
Do you need trekking poles for this hike?
No not really. They’re always good to use though.
Top V,log. Planning to do Corrour to Spean Bridge in May,24. It,s mainly downhill!!
Thanks Steve. Hope the weather is good for you!
Thanks for sharing. I'm planning a route to this place in the future. I think your experience proves that walks like this are a mental challenge, just as much as they are a physical challenge. Walking alone I mean. That's what I'm preparing myself for when I undertake it.
Singing leave it to professionals. 🤣🤣🤣
good trip .Bet you were glad to take a rest at the bike and a cycle to Fort William 😃
Thank you, I was very glad!
Thanks for a fine video. I want to return this summer, 45 years since walking that famous pass as a kid. I aim to do the 4 Munros.
Great stuff and very interesting as i prepare for December 2023 attempt. Thanks for making a fab film which has given me some extra confidence.
This is one of the best videos going up Ben Nevis on youtube
Thanks very much!
Did this one about 30 years ago when I was in my prime. A magnificent walk and I would love to do it again.👍
Thanks for a amazing film about your hike, good filmning 👏🏼
This is by far the best one ive seen. Ive saved it to watch over n over, till I am doing it. Great vid and congrats to all. Which company did you go with?
Thanks so much for watching and that very kind feedback. I’m chuffed you enjoyed it. I went with Adventure Peaks based in Ambleside, England. I hope you get to do it and succeed.
@@Buzzard1968 Thnk you for the quick responce. I have had a look at Adventure Peaks site, and it is alot better than the one Ive found. Great find. Plus it gives me the oppertunity to complete the rest of the training all in 1 place. Thanks again and I will look forward to your next accent.
Enjoyed your film. I'm planning that route in the near future.
Good video thank yoh
Well done 🎉 I’m a novice who has only just done Snowdon 04/03/23 and really want to do Ben Nevis 😅
Fantastic effort! What a day for it too. One in a million 🙂
Thanks, definitely was.
My buddies and I biked the Danube and now have our sights set on the NC 500! Scotland is so beautiful. The Scots are a blast to hang out with! Can't wait!!!!
Congratulations on doing this! I'm planning to take my EV and do NC500 in 2023. Your cycle was very pleasent to watch, and I'm just jealous I'm not (yet!) fit enough to do something like that! 😁
Great idea to take the EV. You'll love it. Hope it comes off for you. Go for it.
@@Buzzard1968 I made it to Skye and to Inverness. Beyond there it where it gets a bit tougher! 😁
Inspiring. I just came back from EBC, now planning for either Mera Peak or Island Peak... your video give more ideas.

The Final Count Down, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, well done.
Thanks for the video and beautiful scenery! Most of the music was really annoying, however…
Great vid guys brilliantly put together amazing trip with good weather could I ask what bikes did yous use for your adventure
Good memories of the 3 S Saturdays! Great time with you, boys!

Almost a meditative experience watching this video. Complete happiness and calmness.
Definitely Philipp. Would love for us all to go again one day!
Such a treat watching these videos and remembering the good times spent together! Andy, so lovely you created these video. Absolutely fantastic!
It is lovely Philipp and they are memories to treasure. It is doubly devastating now when I watch this video. Our John died on 17th July, the day before our Tony's anniversary. But it also conveys such a fantastic time we had together.
@@Buzzard1968 Yes, Andy. I saw your post about it and that made me remember all the good times we had and glad that I got to know your brother. Again, thanks for keeping this all as videos so we can always look back to it.
Did you bring a bike lock? How did you secure your bikes overnight or when stopping for lunch?
What a lovely trip! We're headed out there in a few weeks going the opposite way from Fort William to Corrour :D
Thank you. Hope you had a great walk.
