  • You probably know what the Ring of Steall is already but for those who don't it's a superb walk in the Mamore mountains in Scotland. It takes in 4 Munros (Scottish mountains above 3,000 feet) and 3 tops (other mountain tops not classed as Munros) over 10 miles and 5,600 feet of ascending. Beautiful views all the way around, I did it on a fine day in September.

Did this one about 30 years ago when I was in my prime. A magnificent walk and I would love to do it again.👍

That camerawork was very helpful. I climbed as far as An Gearanach in June’21 , had a good look around but then turned around, as planned, as I had done the CMD Arête just two days before and two days is not a long enough recovery, I’m 70 , FFS. I’m going back in September hoping to do the whole thing. Loved your vlog.

Not yet but it will happen…honest. For now the focus is on Kintail.

Did it many years ago, however the weather was poor. It was cloudy, misty, foggy all day. Always planned to return and do it in better visibility.
