La Toussuire 2017

La Toussuire is a ski resort in the Savoie region of the French Alps. As a town it's not too pretty in summer but it's a good cycle climb up from Saint Jean de Maurienne. Here I am with my brother John and friends Ade, Waleed, Shyam and Philipp, on a cycling holiday based in Saint Jean de Maurienne. It was a special day in that it was the 10th anniversary of my brother Tony's death, who was killed whilst cycling. A more fitting tribute we could not have paid than by being on our bikes with friends.

It is lovely Philipp and they are memories to treasure. It is doubly devastating now when I watch this video. Our John died on 17th July, the day before our Tony's anniversary. But it also conveys such a fantastic time we had together.
