Wrynose and Hardknott Passes, Lake District, England 2019

24th August 2019. A no-thrills video of my ride up Wrynose and Hardknott Passes in the Lake District, England. This is mostly commentary on the climbs as I go along and not much footage of cycling the climbs themselves. It was an exhausting day, I came off the bike multiple times on the steep slopes of Hardknott, ran out of water after about 30 miles, left my wallet in the van and didn't even have any money to buy a drink for the last 40 miles on a boiling hot day. Missed a turn and added 10 miles onto my ride. It was one of those days and my thoughts were summed up perfectly at the end!!
