How to recognise a true artist: look at their pallet.. clean = beginner, dirty and messy = master 😊😂
I've been trying to solve this problem for 1 year. Thanks a lot. Does low pigment watercolor cause this error?
Very useful! Thank you.
YOU ARE AWESOME! ❤❤❤
It has been amazing to me lately how mundane things or scenery is transformed by light. I have been noticing where my eye gravitated to every time I take a brake. We were driving home once and my husband said that the view was beautiful. He never noticed anything there before on our outings. So I looked carefully. The sun was shining on a field. But it had the same qualities of reflection as we would see on water. How? There was no dew probably. The coloring was the sky, not the yellow of the crop. So since I have been noticing this everywhere, I thank you for demonstrating the execution of the concept. I think the depiction of light reflections is the single most important aspect of art. Think about it...that is what the highlights are, right? I loved your example photos. They were very stimulating. A series on this topic would be lovely, thank you Liron and Patreons.
Great👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻love it🤙🏻😎🤙🏻❤️
Human portrait bacame my first of interest in watercolor and not for commercial reasons. I've seen a few made by you and even my approach is slightly different I found it very educating and I like them so much. Your comment about the process is priceless - thank you !
Always I was told " most important is the paper, than paints" and in fact I found out all factors are important. The brush is still to be seen on ready painting. Can't blame others for having collection of numerous brushes where only 4 works for them. This selection seems to be thoughtfully arranged but I believe it's very personal, same as choosing the right camera or film for a photographer. Many thanks for this video!
This is beautiful. I've been practicing small monochrome portraits from leftover paint on my pallette. Eventually I'll try a full portrait. ❤
Appreciate the informative video, Liron! Just what I need now that I am giving watercolor, once again for the Nth time, one more try.
Haha, Nth time’s a charm 😉 Keep it simple, it’s all about you and what you love creating (:
this was very helpful thank you
Very happy to hear, thank you for watching 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I really enjoy 😉 you sharing your favorite brushes that you love to use daily. The Chinese brushes look great! Thanks for sharing this!
Thank you 😊 Have been asked about them a lot lately
Thank you for posting about the brushes and especially demonstrating how each of them works. It’s nice to have that example.
Happy I could help 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you.
Very interesting. Thanks 👍 Very realistic pictures.
The Lebenzon brushes Ive seen at first. They are looking very unusual. I like the bamboo aesthetic. Thanks
Very unusual (: The ones I’ve shown here are among the more normal looking ones haha. I love the crazy ones too though 😂
Nice brushes Liron, it’s Jennie F. I haven’t tried those fancy ones yet. I did really really love the Chronos 6,4,2 pointed round a ton and the riggers. I know that they cost but for the smaller sizes when I work at that level I love the blend and for all my brushes I use a painters soap that has a tiny tiny amount of olive oil. After cleaning I wipe off my brushes on the soap, leave some in, make a point and let them dry on a flat surface. It keeps my sable ones super nice. The soap has lasted forever and it is Pebeo Marsaille soap made for artists. Has done wonders for the sable and synthetics, I use the Escoda different ones, Caseneo, Isabey Which I don’t think it is available in the states anymore but the larger Chronos are really worth it. I was surprised because I hate fly aways in my sable but the blend is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. 😊
Hi Jennie, thank you for sharing! 😊🙏🏼 Escoda were super kind to send me a bunch of brushes, and they also sent soap! But I’m quite lazy and just place them to dry after painting 😂 So I suspect it’s totally my fault
@@LironYan I didn’t hear that ha!
@@LironYan so nice. I speak Spanish and don’t get that treatment! Hahaha ;)
Curious, how many minutes is your realism course?
The watercolor realism course is around 5 hours and 45 minutes long, with 18 lessons (:
Is it possible to paint from life directly?
Very possible, of course (: Artist do it every day, some exclusively paint from real life
@@LironYan It’s so different though from photos where you can just match values and colors from one 2D surface to another.
@@joebeamish Yes! It feels quite different (: You can perceive a lot more of the nuances of the subject. Confusing at first, but ultimately I find it is a richer form of painting (which I am too lazy to do regularly, I admit) 😂
What’s the length of the bristle on the Lebenzon long goat hair brush?
It’s the 1.25” (: I remember checking on the website recently and they may have been sold out 🤔 Apologies if that’s the case.
This is such helpful information! Thank you for sharing Liron!👍
You got it 😊🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great lesson, thank you 😊
Thank you for watching Susan 🙏🏼😊
How many videos, or how many hours of video are in the FFW course? It's unclear on the purchase page. Beautiful lesson, by the way!
Thank you for asking! 🙏🏼😊 It’s about 4 hours and 20 minutes total, with 26 lessons. And there’s another bonus demo that is 20 minutes long (:
@@LironYan Thank you. I will sign up!
lovely
Wow their incredible ,to be able to paint something loosely yet the viewers eyes see it as almost photorealistic is a real skill indeed I loved the truck and the night scene
Seriously how do you even start to draw like that? It’s simple yet sophisticated
Thank you Liron. Can you please explain how does she paint the little tiny white branches of the trees ? IT seems that she uses guache or not !
Thank you!
Thank you for watching 🙏🏼🙏🏼
This was so helpful. Thank you.
So happy to hear my friend 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thank you for watching
i got a set of Chinese brushes they are so nice ,i have way too many brushes ,i use them all ,thank you
Very insightful, will definitely look into the Lebenzon brushes. Escoda has been my go-to brand so far.
Very new to me. Thank you.
Interesting mixes .. thinking of using them in a floral. How'd you mix the final green? It kind of looks like a sap green but I'm sure you didn't use a convenience mix ..
« You don’t have to do anything. You just have to see everything » That’s so good !!! Good advice for young therapists too! :)
Indeed 😁🙏🏼
I think Forest Gump movie took this type of scene for their Jenny scene.
Though reflected light isn’t a new concept to me, your explanation and application (and showing the difference between both paintings) managed to make the concept come alive in a way it hasn’t until now. When a concept comes to such life in my mind, it has the power to change everything-if applied, of course. I intend to apply it this very morning. Thank you for another incredible lesson.
So happy to hear! 😊🙏🏼 I think application will also be a by product of seeing this (:
W teacher
Thank you my fellow struggler 🙏🏼⚔️
Thank you! Great lesson … makes perfect sense can’t wait to try this technique.
Thank you 😊🙏🏼
I would have called you an artist, not a "CZcamsr", until I found out more about you. I honestly don't know how you live with yourself, sitting idly by and/or supporting the murder of innocent women and children. Does it feel good to know that thousands of HUMAN BEINGS have been displaced, had their lands and homes stolen, are being denied basic needs and medicines that easily save lives? How do you feel about living on a piece of land that was forcefully stolen from another family? Do you support this treatment of humans, or dod you not care because deep down your beliefs are that others that aren't your ethnic group are just "animals made in human form to serve your ethnic group" and are "lower than dogs"? And while all of these innocent people are suffering, being murdered, children are orphaned, and have been for decades--you are living off of everything that was stolen from them and living out your dreams. I am sorry I ever followed you.
“Paint what you see” - the catchcry of all good art teachers…. This result is a perfect example of this excellent advice.
All the love ❤
Thank you 😊
Love it 💟
Wow. You just opened my eyes, dude. This is fantastic!
Happy I could help 😁🙏🏼
@@LironYan I was playing with this last night and it went way better than expected. I kept looking over at my painting and being surprised I'd actually done that! Such FANTASTIC advice... the colours I never even realised I was looking at... just... yeah. Thanks, Liron!
nice to see someone like you who is so passionate about what they do! Keep up the great work. Your videos are very inspiring to me.
Thank you so much! 😊🙏🏼
Really enjoyed this lesson ❤❤.
So happy to hear 😊🙏🏼
I bought the cars book because it looks fantastic! I love the idea of repetition to really get the hang of a subject! While I was at it I bought the perspective books, landscape, and fabric folds books. For the next month I am just going to force myself to get perspective, it keeps tripping me up!
Wow thank you so so much my friend 😊🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’m sure you’ll get there 💪
I'm just starting out, thanks so much for this. I wasn't aware of all the values I can go.
bro the time difference makes these streams tough to attend but that Brooklyn painting is killer!
