This video has a section cut out, I'm not sure why they would have edited it out. There is a better video of this out there.
Your reactions are always so amazing to watch. With such enthusiasm and real genuine emotions and understanding. I salute you sir. Please react to if you haven't already grammy awards 1988 and mtv music awards performances. They will blow you away!!
You're right, Michael looks very relaxed, he was devastated that he couldn't be there on time for Ryan and his family and say goodbye before Ryan died, he flew to see his family later that day when he found out, there's a video where Ryan's mother was crying when she saw Michael and he hugged her and comforted her 😢💖 I believe he stayed there with Ryan's family for hours, paparazzi were surrounding him and asking questions and he just looked down you could see he was very hurt even though he was wearing glasses to not show his eyes 😢💔 he also went to his funeral
Clean off the drugs? Dave was just getting started at this point! 😳 Ironically, this song is more poignant now than it ever was at any time.
You should react to Weird Al" Yankovic spoofs of Michael 's beat it called eat it and bad called fat. Michael gave permission for him to do those spoof videos and found them hilarious
For those who say he stole from Black culture, I would argue that in many ways he was a part of black culture. He grew up around black folks in a predominantly black neighborhood. This looks straight out of the church he attended when he was younger. He added to black culture... didn't steal a thing.
This is spectacular. I would bet that those who were closest to him would say that many of the best performances they heard from him were off the cuff, just jamming with friends. I wish he would have formally recorded this in the studio or played it on stage... genius!
Great reaction: You'll be in Heaven soon..... 😂
did you notice? 2:23 this is one of the rare songs in which dave sings higher than martin 😁 i predict you will definitely like the majority of this and the next albums 😊
Hear the entire delta machine , go straight, go ahead,. Don't go back to hear the SOTU b-sides that you missed, it will change your entire perception. Sorry my f*** english.
That wall in front of Graceland gets so filled up with messages from fans that every so often it has to be power cleaned to make room so that fans can write new messages on it. Yes, unfortunately , messages from the past have been erased and are long gone. This practice will likely continue indefinitely ....Gotta get rid of the OLD to make room for the NEW ....Kinda like the circle of life.
Good songs are more than just stories that are told through them. What use is the story if the song is absolutely awful? Music creates a feeling that cannot be created by words alone. Of course it is ideal when a beautiful story meets great music. That is not the case here. DM songs had a charm up until a certain time. Unfortunately, that time was over after SoFaD.
Love this song 💯⚡❤️ Edit: LMAO at Seph rant.... totally agree 😂
This song had a “contemporary urban gospel” resurgence in the late 1960s. It is actually a very old English hymn. Here, it dates back to our earliest Southern gospel - but originally came from English church hymnals. In the 60s and 70s it seemed like EVERYBODY did a version. Elvis’ gospel backup groups recorded versions of it.
The tired music of pensioners. No one would buy this otherwise, but when it's DM it has to be good. Terrible shit, in my humble opinion.
This is the best Elvis reaction ever.
I'll never forget how this made me feel!
I'm an American who loves Cliff Richard!!! He is number three of the most records sold in the UK. Elvis is 1st and the Beatles are 2nd. He is comparable to their Elvis. He started singing and gained his professional career at 18. He was also in movies. He is 83 and born in India. His first single was with the Shadows in 1958. He has had a number one hit in 5 decades. He has 43 regular albums with his last in 2022. He toured Europe extensively and had his last tour in 2018 for his 75 year career. This year he will have a concert with added footage for a movie to be released in theaters.
Seph, I love your chipmunk rants especially with that British accent you have. ♥
I do love a good ol rant haha
There's a footage where Donald trump is showing him. A casino, and a part of. The footage is where he visits Ryan's Mom, and he sits in the car that's in the backyard that he bought him. And he plays the casette and I think it plays Bad.
That dance is called the robot
12:46 “It’s a bloody machine gun!” 😂
I thought you were going to hate the one for sure
From what I understand Baz Luhrmann (director of the 2022 Elvis movie) is working to get a lot of the old extra footage from this concert movie and the 1972 Elvis on Tour movie restored. Hopefully we won"t have potato quality for much longer!
Seph, If you mind questions, I have one: (We are glad that you did ❤) Question. What made you decide to give M.J. a chance, to know for yourself, the man he really was? With 💕💕.
Well, at first it was requested that i listen to a song from MJ and react to it. I put it off for nearly a year... But just caved and listened to one "Thinking i wouldn't like it" but it turns out i was impressed. So i decided to give him another go. This carried on for about 2 months "I started to like his songs but i still didn't like *Him* " That changed when i watched the interview with the lama!! I went from an MJ hater to a lover after watching that. So i owe A LOT to that video
Nobody is fun like Madonna when she decides to just have fun and yes, you’re dwelling too much on what was just an album track, this was all about her unbelievable, captivating performance.
Btw, that's his belt around his shoulders. He took it off earlier in the rehearsal. I think during Polk Salad
Per a Seinfeld episode, it's a "puffy shirt."
Yeah he sounds like he coulda really dug into this in the studio
It's always great to see Elvis during rehearsals, I don't care what the quality, better than nothing at all! Thanks to Leon's great channel, I did discover that Elvis sang a live version in Las Vegas. I often listen to it because the powerful gospel feeling in Elvis's voice is just awesome!! Chills!! czcams.com/video/bAsWkYeDeuQ/video.htmlsi=nCaIqnR1ZmXKOhJD
Seph, can you just answer me that? Since you are doing MJ in cronologycal order, but you have already did Childhood from HISTory Era, are you going to do more Dangerous Era before continue with HISTory?
The only reason i broke my chronological order was because i did the same thing with the dangerous album by listening to Jam early. So i will now be going through his life story during that period 😍
Love this song and I'm sure I've seen a longer version than this but Elvis and gospel go hand in hand - great song just a shame the quality of the film is not brilliant - he had a belt on that he took off and draped it over his shoulder from what I can remember but he does look good in red ⭐
A really stupid song. Like everything after 1994.
I thought you only wrote with crayons. Well done on your progression to typing a keypad 🎉
Is the shirt flamenco style? I love it on him. Love the song too. Wish he'd recorded it for an album.
This is actually in the movie.
This one has always hit me in just the right spot. Something so sublime about it, especially those verses. They really breath nicely. Love the effect on Dave's vocal. That deep bass slide. Those thunderous drums. The guitar twang. I didn't know that "get right with me" was commonly understood to mean confessing one's sins. And this isn't the first religious education you have given me. Thank you
Love your jungle room!😅
It’s an incredible shame that this was not done on stage. At least for an official recording.
"OMG, he looks like he's having so much fun as well." (2:09) Likewise, brother! This is peak Seph. Your joy is on 11!
I loveeeeee this song. I listen to it a couple of times a week on average haha
It’s from the album Jesus Christ Super Star
Incredible song Incredible sound thanks seph 😮
Love this❤️🎼🎶🎵🎙❤️Elvis’s voice is fantastic. He sounds so joyful. Thank you for your great reaction Seph😊
I’d not seen this interview. Thank you, it’s really quite emotional 😭
👑✌️
Depeche Mode incorporates a lot of blues influences on this album.
Love the clip 🔥🔥🤩
How sweet of Michael, he's so attentive and really listens to what Ryan is saying, there is one phone conversation from 1989 that Ryan's mother recorded between Ryan and Michael because I guess Ryan's health was getting worse and she just wanted to have something to remember, she told Michael about it after Ryan passed away and he said "I wish you recorded them all" ❤ I guess she decided to share it after Michael died, but it is soo sweet, they talked about the Batman movie, Ryan invited Michael to watch the premiere and Michael invited him to come to Neverland, you should check that out too, it's very adorable 😊 Ryan's mother said Michael would take his time to talk to Ryan on the phone constantly, he wanted to keep his spirits up ❤
Country lyrics have a tendency of going one way and then turning back on themselves to leave the listener with a deeper effect. Elvis calmly lulls the listener along in certainty until the "you're gonna pay."
Dave may sound growely, but it fits with the bluesy theme of the album. Delta Machine has become one of my favorite albums over time. BTW, another song that is powerful in concert.
are you ever going to stop complaining about quality & just be grateful this footage exists & didn't end up lost or erased this was just rehearsal footage b-roll stuff for his concert film "thats the way it is" WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE IT!!! that is elvis' belt around his neck elvis wore beautiful power belts & would often take them off and sling them over his shoulder or around his neck when he wanted to move unrestricted he would do this during concerts when he decided to give karate demos or in rehearsals when he wanted to goof off right after this you can see him put it back on but you got a cut up version of the video that cuts out before he does it his shirt is a gypsy style puffy sleeve shirt that elvis absolutely loved he had & wore many with different patterns & colors
*Nope* i will NEVER stop complaining! And i'm gonna complain extra next time just because you dont like me complaining :P ohhhhh it's his BELT!!! I couldnt tell because of the bad quality... looked like his collar >.> and i have to admit i LOVE his shirt <3 freakin beautiful style this man had! Love you Belinda <3
