In 1994, Bela Farkas was an orphaned child who needed a liver transplant, and had no chance for recovery. Michael Jackson stepped in and paid for the boy's surgery. Today, with the great help of
Michael, Bela is alive and doing well.
Michael didn't just pay for the surgery. He also covered all other expenses for the boy up to his 18th birthday.

Yes, that's true. I have worked in the music industry for many years and also for an Entertainment Agency here in London. It's part of my job to make sure that actors/ singers reach all of the TV and Radio interviews, Movie Premieres and Concert Venues that we have scheduled for them on time and safely.
Since the 1988 'Bad' tour Michael Jackson would visit children in hospitals in every major city he was touring in, bringing assistants with bags of toys, games and books.
He would go and talk to the nursing staff and ward managers about the day to day running of their units and the equipment they used/ challenges faced.
Then he wouldn't just provide the odd bit of medical equipment... he would fully refurbish whole wards at a time, paying for everything himself. No tax breaks.
He did it everywhere and not long before his death was working on serious plans to open children's hospitals.
I had met him a number of times and it was always the most surreal experience. You couldn't believe it was happening and would almost go blank while it was occuring 😆
I have met and worked with a lot of very well known stars and none ever had that effect on me. I'm pretty level headed and to me, people are just people but there was something very special about that man. It's as if he just shone too brightly.
He was different. You could feel his aura before you saw him.
Odd? Absolutely .. but who isn't? And considering his life and who he was, he was far more alert, articulate, well read, friendly, polite and genuine than 99.8% of other people I have met.
      That's just a fact.

How sweet of Michael, he's so attentive and really listens to what Ryan is saying, there is one phone conversation from 1989 that Ryan's mother recorded between Ryan and Michael because I guess Ryan's health was getting worse and she just wanted to have something to remember, she told Michael about it after Ryan passed away and he said "I wish you recorded them all" ❤ I guess she decided to share it after Michael died, but it is soo sweet, they talked about the Batman movie, Ryan invited Michael to watch the premiere and Michael invited him to come to Neverland, you should check that out too, it's very adorable 😊 Ryan's mother said Michael would take his time to talk to Ryan on the phone constantly, he wanted to keep his spirits up ❤

His friendship with Michael was so beautiful. I watched Ryan’s funeral and Michael visiting his house and comforting his mother. Also when he got in Ryan’s car (the one he bought him I think) man in the mirror was playing, Michael was happy to know he was the last person Ryan listened to.
Unlike many celebrities it was not a publicity stunt, he truly cared. He did the same thing to Dave Dave and Bella Farkas.
I believe he just wanted these kids to be happy and live a healthy childhood. He use to get in disguise to go to a children’s hospital and then take it off to surprise the kids, he made sure no one followed.

    • @Anaabella-ey1
      @Anaabella-ey1 Před 11 dny +1

@@N0EL-7007 exactly, and he wrote a beautiful poem for Ryan too which was in his book Dancing the Dream (1992) a book of poetry and reflections, I truly believe Michael wanted to be like a big brother or a father to all children, whlle healing his inner child by living through them the joy and childhood he never had, he knew how damaging it was and how much suffering it causes for a child to grow up without love and affection and not to be cared for as a child, and deprived of being children, he went through all that with his father, he knew how neglect could hurt children emotionally, he wanted to care for them and nurture them, give them that attention he never had and more than anything to make sure no child would ever suffer like he did, especially sick children, and anything he could do to help and to bring a smile to their faces, that's what he would do, but people of course twist everything in the worst way possible, I feel so heartbroken for Michael, that they took his kindness and goodwill and used it against him and all he wanted was to heal the world 😭 and what angers me the most is that people say "hurt people hurt people" like it's an absolute rule when there are many examples of people who grow up to be super compassionate and empathetic to other people's pain especially children because they know what it's like, and that was the case with Michael. Honestly as much as I think he died too young, I'm happy he is now finally resting, he suffered his whole life, this world is too evil and sick for such a pure loving beautiful soul like him. Like they say, the good die young.

@@Anaabella-ey1you’re so right. I’ll have to check out that poem. I’ve really put so much time into studying this man and it leaves me in tears. Because not only was he a beautiful human but he was bullied his entire life. The media made a joke out of him as soon as he became an adult.
I too truly believe that he had so much compassion towards children who suffered, like in his 2001 Oxford speech he was getting emotional when talking about his childhood and how broken families are hurting children.
I too hate when people say “the abused become the abuser” because while it can be true it’s also an ignorant excuse as to why people want to think he hurt children.
He knew it wasn’t okay to grow up being neglected and hurt, he knew that the industry was hard on children. I believe that why him and Macaulay were so close because he felt for him. I think his nephew Taj even spoke about him trying to keep them out of the industry when they were young because he knew how dark it was.
He expressed his understanding of it in songs like little Susie which is about neglection and abuse and how it can kill. Also in do you know where your child are which talks about children growing up in unstable broken families and how they end up on the streets. Hollywood tonight is also a good example (the unreleased version) because it’s about a girl who’s only 15 doing inappropriate things to get in the business.
It’s sad how his love is twisted. I’ve researched the cases a lot and it’s just insane. Whether people believe he did it or not the media absolutely slandered him and spread so many awful lies with no shame! It makes me so angry and sad.
While yes, his death is very sad and to this day it feels as if a piece of me is missing, I too am glad he doesn’t have to deal with the cruel world anymore. He didn’t deserve the pain, he just wanted to be loved 💔

I really like what you said near the end. There’s so much more to Michael than what you view at face value.
I too was one of those people who thought he was a freak and worse.. which now I feel a lot of guilt for. It wasn’t until I actually dug into his life and the stories that I realized he was the opposite of what if thought.
Sadly the narrative I seemed to have was the one that we’re fed by the media, and growing up in the 2000s that’s really all you got. It’s sad, but I’ve come to love him and admire anyone who really does take the time to learn who he truly was.
Thank you for also taking the time to learn about him despite past assumptions. 😄

Even though you're right about MJ being more relaxed with children/young people than adults, I think it's important to add that MJ was perfectly relaxed hanging out with adult friends and colleagues who MJ trusted. (It just got harder and harder to trust when more and more "friends" exploited and took advantage from their friendship, turning out to be ready to backstab whenever that seemed to be more profitable.)

Hi Seph. I watch ALL of your MJ reactions (I'm now SO excited that you've started your Prince journey too!) and I actually spent 5 days at Neverland in 2002 (with the kids who put him on trial in 2005; the sister was my roommate there as we were the only two females in our party of seven - so THAT'S a story because I maintained a relationship with those kids after we got back to L.A. and I knew MJ was going to be arrested 6 months before it happened). I became friends with Chris Tucker before he was famous and we were working together at the time he took me there; we (unsurprisingly) didn't accomplish much, despite that being our intended goal lol. Now that you've developed such a deep love and respect for MJ as a person, I can tell you that it isn't misplaced. I got to see him be a regular dad, and Prince and Paris (5 and 4 at the time; "Blanket," now Bigi, was an infant the world didn't know about yet) were just the sweetest kids. I'm big on kids too because they just crack me up. I don't go out of my way to form connections, but when I was 30, one of my best friends was 5 (not kidding lol; she was my parents' neighbor's granddaughter and my mom babysat her after she moved in with her grandma because her mom lost custody and her dad was in prison). ALL of my friends knew she was my sidekick - and I don't think ANY of them knew her real name (she was just "Munch" - short for Munchkin 😁). Anyway, if you (or anyone else) has questions about Neverland, I'll be happy to answer them - because we had the run of the place. I've already written 10 chapters about it (originally to make sure I didn't forget, but people seem to enjoy reading them now) if anyone is interested.

    Beautiful reaction👏👏
I just wanna tell u some information 😊😊
    1) Ryan white was born with a disease called hemophilia ( disease in which there is decrease in coagulation factors that required him to receive blood transfusion every few days ) and at that time scientists didn't know that AIDS would transmit by blood... And one time, he received infected blood and got the disease like so many others which is very catastrophic
    2) Michael didn't treat Ryan like he is a friend, Ryan was really a friend of Michael🥰🥰... Michael didn't meet him for show and media u know , he really cared about him and they had fun together, even Ryan's mother once said " Michael treated Ryan like he's not sick, and Ryan treated Michael like he's not a celebrity" 🌹🌹and Michael surely was very knowledgeable to treat a sick patient without showing sympathy and talk to him casually u know
    3) Michael invited Ryan and his mother many times to Neverland where they had this video ✨✨

These was amazing and sad at the same time to see, because you can see MJ like you said more relaxed and open to talk, but then on the other hand listen to Ryan words and his experiences that he went through since the doctor find out he has AIDS is very heartbroken. I liked also when he said about having positive attitude, thoughts and be strong in your mind how that help him to live longer, I think that is very true and actually apply for everything in life not just when you have a dead disease. He had nothing but compassion for other children, because just like him, they were true humans that didn't plot some backdoor plan or to try to exploit him to make money. It's sad what he had to go through and that he left so young....

I’m so tired of the people who say that literally everything nice he did was a PR stunt or a coverup. It’s honestly so dumb. From what I know most of the good he did went unreported unless someone else spoke on it, he himself rarely brought it up.
In a way he definitely brought SOME of the slander onto himself, but at the same time it’s not his fault. Like I’m pretty sure the oxygen chamber and stuff was planted by his team in order to promote mystery or something, but idk if he was actually a part of it though.
But when it comes to his appearance and behaviors that’s just who he was, and treatment he got for that was mostly uncalled for. I feel like the media treatment just shows a lack of compassion for celebrities because they see them as cash cows when they’re just humans. Like they don’t seem to care that Michael faced harsh treatments as a child, or his health conditions and insecurities.
Still, many celebrities fool around with the media, but if he did it went completely south.
No matter what was his “fault” or not, the media was no doubt racist and biased. They took everything he did and made it slanderous, it’s pathetic and sickening. In no way was the media treatment justifiable, it was pure bullying and it’s just sad
      :(

when u put into consideration that he lacked exactly of that childhood years age 8 and older...it all makes sense. Its a deep trauma which many many child stars never overcame and ended up very tragically because of it. The fact that MJ made it into adulthood copeing the way he did and looking at the world with so much positivity being surround by all sorts of managers and other business associates pushing and pulling on him since decades. You need a positive source to make your tank full again. Like MJ was for us. HIs music. We went to listen to him to feel better. He found the joy to disconnect from adults wanting something from him through kids, playing, having a water balloon fight or enjoying nature. In fact its something very healthy about that ...its almost what spiritual guides teach you.. find a source that lifts your spirits. Finding out more about his roots were also some full circle moments for me regarding this bc his roots are black but also native american ;-)

I think he coped healthily.. he still was an adult, but also understood the joy of youth and childhood. The fact that he managed to find positivity and cope without harming himself for so long is good. I know he did start to cope with pain killers later on, but for the most part he seemed to avoid it. for some reason YT removes my comments. Here again:
This was definately not a PR stunt. This clip only came out after MJs passing. And yes this was at Neverland. We knew about Ryan through "Gone to soon" clip and the book "Dancing the dream" which is a book containing MJs thoughts and poetry. In there there is a poem about Ryan too. Ryan was always left out of the narration of the media. Clearly it wouldn't make sense for a predator to pursue a child to contaminate himself with a deadly disease if that was the end goal of approaching this child. On top it would have been a waste to spend time to groom Ryan if the aim was that, isn't it. Considering his tight schedule at the very same time. It all makes no sense. I love MJ in the role of asking questions. There is another snippet of him doing that later in life. He there talks to a book author "Michael Lee Burch" who wrote a book called "They cage the animals at night". He was very engaged in conversations which was a great watch.
Btw min 14:59 are the alarm bells that the media and prosecution tried to portray as some sorts of sinister thing for him to be alerted when someone came in the room. These alarm bells were installed bc there was a lot of house staff walking around. He was the most famous person on the planet. Of course he had to know if someone walked in. There were a few times where fans walked on the property. Bc the fences around the ranch were real low. If you knew how you easily could enter.

Personally I believe the stories that were told after years of therapy by the children that were in the room alone with him about what those alarm bells in that particular room that they were in were meant to do. Maybe if everyone didn’t idolize him so much and he was never told no in his professional adult solo career then maybe he would’ve been able to have some self reflection and therapy and we would have more understanding. He definitely had mental health issues and I don’t see how anybody could not believe that considering the toxic abusive family life he had and growing up the way he did.

But all these things Seph will dive into later. Seph is chronologically researching on Michael Jackson and is currently in the year 1990. If you did watch a documentary titled "Leaving Neverland" you have to know that this is a very very misleading film. I respect Sephs wish not to go into detail of events that will happen later in life. MJ passed in the year 2009 and these two men came forward in the year 2012. The film in the year 2019. So there is still plenty time ahead for him to get to these events. But if you want to go research go google two keywords for a starter: "Trainstation James Safechuck". And "Wade Robson Grand Canyon" ...there is much much much more i could tell u to research on but i really want to wait for the sake of Sephs journey. I am very aware of everything any detail happening in Michael Jacksons life. I am a fan since 1988 and i myself read all the court transcripts, was an uncalled witness in the trial, was befriended with ppl working for him, was inside the courtroom myself, met MJ a few times myself. Most people especially back then with aids it was taboo to be almost in the same room with. Thats what happened to Magic Johnson , many players did not want to play with him so the nba made him retire. Here is MJ with no cares in the world just befriending someone that no one would ne friends with. Ryan White was a huge story

    Seph,
If you mind questions, I have one: (We are glad that you did ❤)
    Question.
What made you decide to give M.J. a chance, to know for yourself, the man he really was?
    With 💕💕.

Well, at first it was requested that i listen to a song from MJ and react to it. I put it off for nearly a year... But just caved and listened to one "Thinking i wouldn't like it" but it turns out i was impressed. So i decided to give him another go.
This carried on for about 2 months "I started to like his songs but i still didn't like *Him* "
That changed when i watched the interview with the lama!! I went from an MJ hater to a lover after watching that. So i owe A LOT to that video

There's a footage where Donald trump is showing him. A casino, and a part of. The footage is where he visits Ryan's Mom, and he sits in the car that's in the backyard that he bought him. And he plays the casette and I think it plays Bad.

seph if you did not like Michael a year before, how can you start reacting to his work? I mean how were you inspired to do this

I was asked to react to Michael by a Subscriber. I listened to 1 of his songs "thinking i would hate it" but ended up being impressed instead.
So i carried on listening every day or so until i reached the interview with the Lama.... Thats when i went from an MJ hater to a lover! Kinda owe a lot to that interview!

I have a request for you. “Let’s groove” by earth wind fire. The same guys that made the song September that you reacted to here on the channel 6 months ago

Seph, can you just answer me that? Since you are doing MJ in cronologycal order, but you have already did Childhood from HISTory Era, are you going to do more Dangerous Era before continue with HISTory?

    • @SephPlays
      @SephPlays  Před 13 dny +2

The only reason i broke my chronological order was because i did the same thing with the dangerous album by listening to Jam early.
So i will now be going through his life story during that period 😍
