To give you a better context for how big this dude was.. In the 80s, Madonna released six albums, Bruce Springsteen released 8 albums, and prince released 9 albums.
These were the biggest artists of that period
Bro, michael jackson outsold these giants, and everybody else, with a MERE TWO ALBUMS ONLY!
    It wasn't even close!
    To quote a popular magazine..
"in the world of pop music, there's Michael Jackson, and then there's everyone else".

1:47 another fun fact: They both were very very good friends until the day she died. She always called Mj on the phone at night and they cried to each other shoulders bc of the media and how they treated them. MJ believed that no one was treated as bad as them and also she was also his type he had a little crush on her😩 People really don’t realize that their personality’s were really really similar

So they started to call Mj the King of Pop at the beginning of the 80s on magazine and stuff. So after thriller they started doing it BUT Elizabeth Taylor on a award show called Mj "The King of Pop Rock and soul" so after this speech it became bigger and more global it became his trademark. That was the start of owning the title "The King of Pop"

King of Pop was origin mentioned by Liz Taylor in one of the Award shows in - I think it was 1989 (where also Eddie Murphy was there). She said "the true King of Pop, Rock & Soul". So in your videos here (this was 1988) may they started to call him already The King.. I think end of the 80´s they called him "King of Pop" as he was THE Star who dominated the 80s with Thriller and Bad.

Welcome to the BAD tour 😂😂Awesome reaction seph 🌹🌹🌹
Prepare your self in this concert to meet a lot of pauses so give your self enough time before ending the reaction haha 🥰🔥
About the pause : that was an interesting technique of Michael as u said to take photos yeah but also to catch a breath without making the audience feel bored and at the same time to make them give him some noise 😂😂😂
I want to give u information about attending Michael's concert as i read , the audience may attend the stadium 16 hours before the show to have a front line ✨and most of them didn't drink water not to go to toilets in the middle of the show ....
And there are a group of very loyal fans who travel after Michael and attend every concert of him and they may attend the rehearsals and sleep in the stadium as well and he recognised them as if u don't know that Michael had a photographic memory so he recognised a lot of his fans according to what his guitarist said ❤❤❤

This is the 2nd leg of bad world tour. Some of the songs from the bad album weren't released during the 1st leg of bad world tour in Japan so Michael had performed songs from his albums with his brothers such as lovely one, shake your body, etc.
These songs were then removed to make place for the new songs of the bad album, so don't forget to check out 'the jacksons' songs from this tour.

This one is amazinnggg!! I'm sure you'll love it! The pause was to get fans to get hyped but also I'm sure it allowed him to take a little break from all the dancing and breathe as well, imagine dancing like that and singing at the same time for whole 2 HOURS (he always gave his best EVERY concert was that level of energy!!), must NOT be easy, not to mention the time it must have taken to rehearse and practice before the show, since he was a perfectionist and wanted everything to be perfect, also a little interesting fact, some songs at the BAD tours (not all tho), were actually more sped up (or the instruments) than they were on the studio version, so they were faster, to keep it more energetic! Seriously he is the best dancer, NO ONE can do it like him 😊

Might I suggest you find time to watch a concert from the Jacksons Victory Tour even if it's on your own time so you don't get copyrighted. Yeess🔥 Here's some information Seph:
This Wembley concert is the official one of the Bad World Tour, chosen by the Jackson estate. Its one of the seven sold out Wembley concerts of the tour. Its the best one and with the best quality.
The Bad Tour was one of the most iconic and successful music tours in the history of pop music. It was made to promote the Bad Album. It was Michael's first solo tour without his brothers. It began on September 12, 1987, in Tokyo, Japan, and concluded on January 27, 1989, in Los Angeles, California, for a total of 123 concerts all over the world!
It set several grossing records. It became the most financially successful music tour of its time, with over 4.4 million tickets sold worldwide and a total gross of over $125 million.
Michael's dancing talent was widely recognized and celebrated during the tour.
The Bad Tour featured memorable performances in various locations around the world, including North America, Europe, Japan, Australia, and more. It was one of the first tours by a Western artist to visit Eastern European countries during the Cold War era.
It helped solidify Michael's fame and popularity as one of the greatest and most influential artists in the music world. His musical impact and entertainment talent were widely acknowledged during this tour.

He branded himself that title. I was reading about a chap off the radio (I've forgotten his name) who wasn't happy because MJ told the radio station that they were to refer to him as that title or else he wouldn't permit the playing of his new album. The guy was Reagan annoyed that the station biwed down to rhe request.
He also wanted to take the title of king because he felt Elvis shouldn't have it because he was white. Surprising really since he thought he was going to teach the kids of the whole world about racism yet here he was actually being racist against Elvis... and Elvis never demanded that title for himself. He said "I'm not a king. There's only one king - Jesus Christ."
So I don't know why mj wasn't kind about him. Elvis had bumped into the Jackson Five once and quickly drew attention to them as the hottest band around. Yet MJ was rude about him and then took his daughter to try to get Elvis's catalogue for himself.
He's a great entertainer in his own right so i don't know why he was trying to rule the world. I didn't like the crotch grabbing and would never let my kids watch him when they were younger. The creepy police interview with him in 96 was really off-putting for me too because of the bizarre mocking giggles. I felt supportive of him before I saw that and that nade me stop in my tracks and start researching. I didn't like what i found out, i don't think he's innocent and i don't think he's dead either. There is something completely off about him and no he isn't just a child. He's manipulative and worrying to the non-starstruck. No one should have ever let their little lads go there to sleep. I try to watch him again sometimes but as soon as his face looks aggressive and he grabs his crotch i just can't.
Please could you react to eg The Bee Gees or individual songs like The Eighth Day by Hazel O'Connor?
