When you start to read the Bible, it's a living book that explains, gives testimonies, helps you discern. No amount of ritual/ works will bring you closer to the Father / Jesus except that you believe Jesus died & rose, repent. Yes your works will tell let others know what you're about but without faith it's useless. It's a relationship with our Lord that we ourselves communicate at any time. I went to a Catholic school decades ago and although they were nice people, looking back it was more of a ritual affair and using graven images of statues & other relics to pour our hearts out to. These are images or objects God doesn't want us to rely on, it's what got the Jewish people in trouble when Moses came down from the mountain plus much more after King David's reign.

There is freedom of religion in most developed countries. The “pope” banning anything doesn’t mean a thing.

I'm a cradle Catholic and ur helping me understand how wonderful Catholic tradition is and how important it is for a well rounded spiritual life. If people just read the church fathers they would see their errors but just as the Pharisees they like to be the head of their church and anything that threatens that they refuse. I would get very intense nightmares. I had no idea how to deal with it. I was offered psychiatric medication for it but I refused. I eventually played the rosary before bed and I finally got to rest without a bad dream. Eventually I stopped and the nightmares came back. Three nights in a row demonic torment. Witchcraft Rituals of blood and violence shown to me in my sleep. And that final night I woke up at 3 am and listened to the rosary prayed and instantly when I fell back to sleep the nightmare didn’t happen again.

She gifted me a portrait of Our Lady of Revelation, that, she painted from having been witness to one of the subsequent apparitions in the 1980's by the Blessed Mother in Rome, at Tre Fontane. (The very first apparition happened in 1947 with her appearing to Bruno Cornacchiola and his three children in a cave in Rome, where she identified herself as the Mother of Revelation.) It was the day the sun turned green. Marcella, said to me, that there were no words to describe her beauty. She painted the portrait believing that, it was the image she saw that day in Rome. In the back of the image there is a picture of her presenting another copy of this portrait to Saint John Paul II. Also, in the back of the portrait is an article written by an Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera, writing about the event in the 80's. She signed it for me with the words, "To Jerry, may the Virgin of Revelation bless your journey through life." The portrait is hanging in my bedroom. Ave Maria🙏❤️
