- I know it's Easter and not Thanksgiving. But I think it is appropriate to think of things we are thankful for.
I'm thankful that Christ was crucified and raised from the dead so that we can have Salvation.
I'm thankful for my wife, my children, my Grandchildren and the rest of my family.
I'm thankful I have a job, a house and a decent living.
And Im thankful for the SSPX

Welcome to the family brother
At 93+years old, I was brought up in the Latin Mass and miss it terribly. When Vatican ll came to being, I found my faith changing and not for the good. I pray every Catholic Church return to the Latin Mass, the Communion rail and true faith in Jesus Christ, founder of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
Then Vatican 2 will have to go then too. You can't comprise with these V2 heretics and Antipopes its a sin against the faith.
The archbishop is a saint. Love the SSPX.

Father Malachi Martin did say in his prophetic work that the SSPX would have an important role in the future and restoring the church to its former glory and a lot of people didn't like that. He said that that the SSPX was a part of the remnant church talked about in the book of the Apocalypse
No Sedevancantists are the remnant of the true Church not the SSPX; they are fence sitters. The true recognize and resist position is to recognize Antipope Francis as a heretic and to resist him as a heretic. There is way too much comprising in the SSPX; its not the true traditional position. Sometimes you have go to the extremes to keep the truth. Wake up my friend we are living in the last days and God is chastising us just like he did to the Israelites in the Babylonian captivity. We are living in the last days. You can't fence sit; you got reconize the truth and the only reasonable position is Sedevancantism. King David's throne was vacant for 500 years-read Jeremiah. Jesus will come back and he hardly will find any faith on Earth, thats why he says only very "few will be saved". Get your head out of the sand. 70 years is nothing; it may end by a miracle but we know Christ is coming back soon because the signs show we are nearing the end. I will pray for you and all fence sitters in the SSPX.

While i dont go to SSPX anymore (moved away), i will always be grateful for the chapel that i went to for 3 years. It reinvigorated my passion for the mass, gave me more reverence for the Eucharist, and overall wanted me to kearn more about my faith
I attend masses offered by the SSPX at their seminary in Dillwyn Virginia. I have found the priests friendly and welcoming. I never hear any toxic sermons, just solid teaching of the Catholic Faith. I've learned much about the faith since attending there and have become a member of their 3rd Order. I too am thankful for the SSPX. Come for a visit to their incredible seminary.
Thank God for our tiny SSPX chapel in my area. When every other church was limiting mass attendance or outright closing the churches, and many priests were hiding behind masks and hand sanitizer and only giving communion in the hand, during the scamdemic, only the SSPX was open. We were pleasantly surprised when we went there; it was crowded, people were elbow to elbow and no one was wearing masks. We received communion kneeling at the rail and on the tongue, and people would actually shake hands and talk to you in the parking lot afterwards. Real faith.
I totally agree with your commentary. If it were not for the good Abp. Marcel Lefebvre, I dare say the Traditional Roman Rite would be extinct.

Well, you have provided some material for your claims, I'll give you that. As for your speculations on the eternal destiny of Archbishop Lefebvre, there have been at least five saints who were at some point in their lives excommunicated: Pope St. Leo I, St. Columba, St. Athanasius, St. Joan of Arc and St. Mary MacKillop.
The intense hostility certain individuals have toward Archbishop Lefebvre reminds me of something once said by Our Lord: "if the world hates you, know that it hated me before it hated you."

The traditional Latin mass priest is very thorough he asked me how many times I did a specific sin and it was like intense. Since I live in Little Rock there’s only 1 place I can go to so it’s very much appreciated!

I wish there were a Latin mass near me. As a former protestant, I like the old solemn intercessions. None of this "for our brothers and sisters who are pleasing to God despite remaining outside the Catholic Church." Rather "we pray that heretics and schismatics return to sanity!"

You are absolutely correct. The good folks over at Mass of the Ages keep missing this point, perhaps because their primary audience is diocesan and they don't want to rock the boat. Regardless, the entirety of the Tradition of the Catholic Faith, the mass, the doctrines, and Catholic culture and education is preserved around SSPX communities and religious institutions, and frankly nowhere else as a whole.
We have them and only them to thank for being principled enough to withstand accusations of schism and rebellious spirit for 50+ years, all the while their heads are to the grindstone saving souls every day. The bishops and priests of the SSPX have more energy than seemingly humanly possible, tirelessly traveling and offering sacraments to so many souls every single weekend. It is incredible to witness and is the mark of the true faith.
By their fruits you shall know them. Indeed...

I am thankful for all friend communities officialized by FSSPX, for if it wasnt for them willing to create new bonds elsewhere, I would never have access to the Tridentine Mass, and salvation for me and my kin would be much further away.

I love me a high mass! I was raised & attended NO for most of my life. Been trad for five years now and have no plans to go back to diocesan masses. They will have to pry the TLM from my cold dead hands. If that makes any sense!

I attend an FSSP Perish, and our priest recommended for me to use the 1945 St. Andrews Missal, and he uses that in our Latin Mass.

I'm mainly thankful for a lot of things including coming back and learning small bits about my Catholic faith. I know the mass I attended to is Novus Ordo but I'm still thankful for it especially the way how they celebrate the holy week and just being with family members. Also it's the place where I went to my confession for a very long time and I'm thankful to God and praying the rosary for overcoming my childhood trauma of going to confession. I pray that one day after getting a job that I get to visit a traditional latin mass.

I am thankful for your videos and your boldness. It is a good witness to me in my journey towards confidently leading my new family towards Christ.
I am generally unfamiliar with the trad movement. Though I have been exposed to some unsavory trad types, I don't see what could be wrong with having an appreciation or even love for tradition, so I don't really understand why I or other Catholics would push against traditionalism in concept. I have not had the pleasure of attending a Latin mass though I hope to at some point.

Thank you for a very thoughtful and well prepared and presented video. I greatly appreciate the sentiment expressed in your video, and honor you for your sense of appreciation and love for the clergy that have provided you and your family with the Mass and sacraments. I have likewise benefited from many dedicated clergy throughout my life that I can never fully repay, many of whom have passed on to their reward. It is their memory that forms the basis of my disagreement with your statements that “without it [the SSPX], there would be no Latin Mass” (@1:57), and “LeFebvre answered the call to preserve the Latin Mass, the traditional rites, and the traditional faith, … if he hadn’t, they would be gone.” (@4:35)
This is clearly not true. Others recognized the errors of Vatican 2 from the very beginning, and refused to compromise - not just with regard to the destruction of the Mass, but to the theological and dogmatic errors of Vatican 2 as well. Faithful Catholics the world over preserved the Latin Mass and the true Catholic faith independent of SSPX. And for many of them this was due specifically to their disagreement with the SSPX’s position that one could recognize someone as the pope but not submit to him, which is a schismatic position.

Here also, I humbly submit that you have it wrong. What is irrelevant is “numbers”: As a great saint put it many centuries ago, “Athanasius and God make a majority.” I certainly recognize that the SSPX has many more adherents than for example the CMRI. But if that is the criterion on which to judge a group’s validity, we would be with the FSSP or all-in with the new Vatican 2 religion itself. No, it is not the numbers that make a specific group of people Catholic or non-Catholic. It is their total belief in all that the Church teaches, or their rejection of it, even if that rejection is of but one teaching of the church. As Pope Leo XIII states in Satis Cogitum: “There can be nothing more dangerous than those heretics who admit nearly the whole series of doctrines, and yet by one word, as with a drop of poison, taint the real and simple faith taught by Our Lord and handed down by apostolic tradition. From this it is very easy to see that men can fall away from the unity of the Church by schism, as well as by heresy.”
None of us chose the times we live in. And we all most bitterly regret the desolation and destruction of the Catholic faith that we witness in our times. It is our duty, then, to stand with Christ at the foot of His cross, in union with our Blessed Mother, as His Church endures this crucifixion. It is our duty to preserve His faith undiminished - all of it: the true Mass, the true sacraments, and the entirety of Catholic dogma. In this way, we too will assist in bringing about the resurrection of our holy, Catholic Church.

Went to Saint Michaels SSPX Mass in Oklahoma City last month while traveling. It was beautiful. The SSPX is a light on a hilltop - however in Scotland, not so much, the priests paid for "bouncers" on the door at the Glasgow church to bar three lay people ( who had assisted at Mass there for over 20 years) - shameful behavior, not the actions of Catholic clergymen.
I wrote to Switzerland twice, however, sadly, clericalism is alive and well.

Fun fact. Ever wondered why there is the second Confiteor at the SSPX Mass when it's not contained in the 1962 Missal? There was a dispute as the US SSPX was using the 55' Missal and Europe was using the 62'. Saint Lefebrve had to choose which one to use so he brilliantly compromised and went universal 62" but kept the second Confiteor in the Mass from the 55' missal.
I had heard fr Jenkins mention something about that. Isnt the fact that those priests were using an earlier missal one of the reasons Lefebvre kicked them out

At practically every Mass I’ve attended, there’s always the Confiteor before Communion, even though it’s not officially in the ‘62 Missal. I think it just a mysterious printing error?

They don't have a canonical mission. It's a requirement of Divine Law, not just Ecclesiastical Law, that one must have a canonical mission in order to have a morally legitimate ministry. Bad leadership in the church doesn't justify worshipping outside of the Catholic Church.

There is nothing wrong with most Trads, the issue is with those Trads that not only attack the Novus Ordo but claim that anyone attending the NO is not Catholic. The SSPX sadly has become a breeding groud for these individuals and thats why Rome is hesitant to provide a new Bishop. Worst case scenario its going to be another slow schism like the one between the East and the West. If that happens I will stick to Rome, history proves that Rome has his issues, but still remains the head of the Church.

I think using the English language during a mass is okay since English has become the universal language. It makes easier to evangelise people especially in those countries that dont speak Latin. In my country, our mass can consist of English language, our national language, and the local languages depends on which regions.
A shared point coming from an American exorcist Fr. Ripperger once asked a demon if exorcising them or saying an English prayer against them will not take effect. The demon replied, it doesn't matter what language they use as it still centers Jesus Christ. The demon laughed and said, "You are fool to be confused of your languages." So Fr. Ripperger said that let's not be confused of what languages to use in understanding our Catholic faith as long as we know what it truly teaches. Although Latin mass is very solemn and is ideal and can't be easily modernised like the way protestants do in their musical/concert band/rap way of worshipping.
I would say the reason why Latin mass is so important is because it can't be easily changed into modern or worldly way of preaching just like what protestants do in their worship houses.
The Universal Language is LATIN & used by Catholic Church since Fourth Century and Mass in the Roman Latin Rite and MANDATED by the Dogmatic Council of TRENT, Session 7 Canon 13 & Session 22 Canon 9, & Binding Apostolic Constitution QUO PRIMUM issued in AD 1570. Mass in Roman Latin Rite was to be said in LATIN only. 🦘

Giving Lefebvre credit for "The Latin Mass" is like giving credit to the captain of the Titanic for crossing the ocean.
Just because he started out with good intentions does not justify what he did later. There were priests that were with Lefebvre from the beginning. They had good intentions, and they held true to those intentions.
Why give credit to the guy who lost his way? Why not give credit to the many priests who started out with good intentions and kept those good intentions?
Why give credit to a man who hit an iceberg and sank, when there are others who kept on course and crossed the ocean?
Hard to comprehend what logic has to be employed to arrive at the conclusion that the 5th or 6th largest religious order in the world by number of ordained priests, and likely the fastest growing one, is a failure or Abp. Lefebvre is comparable to the captain of the Titanic. This is bizarre.

Unfortunately, Catholics are taught to deny the Holy Scripture therefore denying CHRIST that they have everlasting life and are not condemned since they don't know where they will go when they die. A real Christian has everlasting life and is not condemned and will go to Heaven upon death.
If you read your scripture around John Ch-6, you'll find Christians must do something besides believe in Him as lord and savior... the good folks Jesus was talking to couldn't believe it, even after He told them over and over, and so they left him... only the apostles stayed. What was it that they had to do that was so difficult, such that hundreds walked away and only 12 stayed?
If it was only believing as in 3:16, wouldn't they have all stuck around?

Typical Protestant cherry picking verses from the Bible that the Catholics gave them. They fully trust the authority of the Pope who finalized the NT Canon in the year 382 A.D. and they only read from those 27 decided by the Pope despite there being many more manuscripts, yet have the audacity to bash that church because they think their interpretation of scripture is greater than the magisterium. That just tells us Protestants think they have something that Christ himself lacked in apparently since they know the scriptures better than those who have Christ's authority and proven Apostolic succession.
