In my opinion the weakest link on this mower is the deck. Granted my yard is rough on mowers but for the length of time I've had my XT-1 with the damage it has accumulated over that time, it is a flimsy mower deck. It is also a pain to keep balanced. Vibrating mowers and screw/nut adjusted balancing doesn't go well together at all. I had Case mowers 20+ years ago that I never had to balance, ever.

This is great and why I love YT. Just got a used Pony that works just fine, but I want to change out the blades for mulch blades and really did not want to mess with taking off the deck to do it. Now I can as I have enough wood in the garage to build these. Thanks!

Question: The label states to use a garden pump sprayer to apply the Mold Armor product to the desired wall, then wait ten minutes and then use the 'jet' setting on the Mold Armor applicator to rinse/remove the mold and remnants. Although watching your video and a few others, no one is doing this. They are simply spraying the product using their garden hose and the jet setting. What gives? Thanks

I cannot get the hex bolt to turn on the side of the left hanger. Even after loosening the 1/2 nut the hex bolt will not tighten or loosen.

I have an old toro lx500 (2007). That mower deck is 10 times easier to remove! Thank God my cub cadet is the 50” with electric PTO. A little easier.

I did this and it only helped a tiny bit. I had to come back on here to post what completely fixed this problem for me. I simply switched dishwasher detergents. The manufacturer recommends Finish gel liquid but I switched to Cascade tabs and presto! I never seen the dishes so clean!! I hope this works for you all. It might just be your soap!!

Will never understand, Why would you even consider buying a battery powered lawn mower?

After two batteries going bad on this thing for 5 years I am done with it and going back to gas, no more headaches.

Just scrape the worst off then paint your old engine oil from the mower, which you should change once a year, straight over the old dry grass will hold it on. No rust no problem! Do this at the end of each season.

Thanks for the video. The homemade ramps and C clamp are great ideas. The major things I do differently is 1) to have a jack stand under the mower for safety reasons. And 2) clean the mower deck while the old blades are off and before the new ones are installed. It makes cleaning the deck easier and safer. The blades are not in the way and there is no worry about being cut by the blades. Always wear eye protection and gloves. PEACE.

When I purchased my Troy bilt mower it did not come with the drain sleeve. I called Troy Bilt and they sent me one at no charge.

It would be easier to measure the deck itself than making something and trying to mark it where one cannot see what they are doing.
