Thanks for this. Would have COMPLETELY missed this. Question: are you going to do a video on prepping your mower for winter? Even though I live in FL, my CC is going to be sitting for a few months. Thanks again!

I have not before, but that's a good idea. I did one on removing it from storage one time. I'd say my biggest 3 keys are 1) scrape grass clippings off the deck to slow down rust 2) run the mower out of gas right before storage (or put Sta-bil in it) and 3) put a battery tender on the battery or just bring it in somewhere warm. But you probably don't have to worry about that last one in FL!

I have a maintenance question. I bought a cub cadet xt1 lt50 last fall. Today.. I wanted to check the tire air pressure. The front tires were just a little low (should be 14psi).. but the rear tires were, both, almost 17psi. (Should be 10). Can you think of any reason these tires would have an elevated pressure.. new from the dealer/factory?

A big part could be temperature change. I was just checking the tire pressure on my wife's car today and it did the same thing, because the temp dropped and then went up a lot.

They often ship from the factory over inflated for stability in the crate. If this is your first time checking pressure that’s probably it.

      @@GeneMelelli This is very true.
