Brilliant! Looks very real.
Me: 😆 Also me after he turns on the light: 🤯
Absolutely Phenomenal! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽what a masterpiece!! Thank you so much for sharing so many techniques in one project! Obsessed!! ❤😍
I would love to get into building dioramas. You are very talented! Do you ever watch Luke Towan? He is here in Australia and builds dioramas but mostly of nature scenes or different bits of infrastructure you see everywhere in rural Australia. It's worth checking out if you have never seen his work.
Give this man an w for making this all❤❤❤
After carving just hit it with a heat gun to separate the “bricks” more! (Faster)
Here's some real stone work tips that are the reason walls remain strong : Except corners and openings, a stone should never be taller than it is wide. A stone should always cover the join below by at least as wide as your hand. Avoid long vertical mortar lines.
Awesome.
Artistic talent videos on CZcams typically just condense dozens or hundreds of hours of tedious work into an impressive video. That shit does not really impress me. There are lots of good artists out there and if they spend a lot of time on a piece it will probably look good. What you did here impresses me. It's quick-ish. Insanely effective. Probably anybody can do it and it looks like you have perfected it. This is awesome work!!
Could have used hairspray before applying the white paint. Then moisten it to allow the paint to chip away
When you're REALLY into D&D. Just kidding. That's a cool artistic skill.
Looks pretty darn good
Красота! Лайк!
as usual amazing job!!!!!
Looks good
The overhangs on old buildings like this are actually called "jetties".
For a more historically accurate stone wall (especially castle walls). Large rectangular stones would be put on the bottom for a strong base. Then in the middle, longer flatter stones are used. And finally at the top the smaller stones are used because they are the lightest and won't collapse the entire wall from too much weight.
That's increcible!
That's awesome! Getting laid is better.
Spectacular!
Thank you!
Would you consider selling any of your 3 D prints outright?
I'd like to see how you would make a house on a lake.
I would love to do some residential architecture models soon!
They were best before you added the brown
Very nice 👍
Thank you!
I still say having the camera from inside one of the shops looking out as if the perspective sitting at a table and roll a car by outside - it would look so boss!
This is how they made rocks back in the middle ages, aluminum foil really changed the game
Using this as inspiration for my NMS build(s). Sooooo pretty!!! I have so many beautiful archipelago planets with blue skies, blue seas, and gorgeous white sand, but 0 ideas on what to build! Your dioramas are so detailed and motivate me to get back to designing and building xD
Too much yellowish
I don't think you ever mentioned, (unless I just missed it) but what scale is this model? Edit: Found it, 1/24th.
Yes 1/24 is correct! In fact, everything I’ve built for the channel so far is 1/24 scale. Thanks for watching!
It's fine to show everything that is being made in detail. But why don't you all show the finished final product? fast cut !!!
Very nice work. A lot of old houses like this had a large beam protruding from under the ridge to attach a block and tackle for moving furniture upstairs.
Fantastic!
you should put some candle lights inside the build so you can make the windows glow and look lived in
Clever!!!
excelente trabajo ymagnificamente ejecutado, merece la pena el arduo trabajo , con estos resultados tan buenos, espero ver más Dioramas tuyos, Saludos Cordiales😊
Awesome work!
Thank you! Cheers!
Прекрасный результат. Макет как настоящий дом! Лайк.👍👍👍 Какой масштаб?
Nice work😊👍
I think aluminium ball can be replaced on natural rock. When i tried with aluminium it just scratched and pierced my styrofoam
The work was great!
Very nice result, great job! Tips: try to use electrostatic deposit of grass, it helps to have vertical grass with a very nice random deposit of it (I have one video of a WW2 diorama that explain it). Good job again!
Why the grey dry brushing and the cover with the spackle? Doesn't that negate the dry brush coat?
Cool! Where do you find the pink foam?
I got mine from Home Depot! I think you can also order it off Amazon. Just type in something like “pink xps foam” and there should be a variety of thicknesses
I only know it wasn't real because you showed how to create a peeling paint effect and a styrofoam brick chimney in previous posts. Amazing, though. Love it
Thank you for watching!
You are absolutely brilliant at bricks!
Thank you :)
I’ve been wondering how to do this for years, finally thank you
Glad this was helpful!!
I can't even put the toilet seat back down and you want me to do all that? LOL
Haha!! At least it’s quicker than cutting and gluing individual bricks!
Looks beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
QUE TRABALHO PERFEITO!!!!🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
