Let's be real: it's a post Infinity War problem. There was already a major step backwards at Endgame.

Phase 4 should have been the way it was but with something gluing them all together. Like maybe some shadowy mastermind who doesn't have any superpowers or isn't as powerful, opting for manipulation and having spiderman be the main thing that will eventually create a new avengers

I think a phase of EXCLUSIVELY smaller separate stories of old characters just doing their thing with new characters getting introduced would've worked. It would've been a nice tonal reprieve from the "'big huge universe threat" energy that I think we as an audience could've used after the infinity saga, and it would've felt they way one feels just perusing random low stakes comic issues. On the flip side, I ALSO think picking right back up with a multiversal threat of an even LARGER scale and narrative weight than the infinity saga, where endgame was just the start of a larger domino chain, ALSO would've been a fun and interesting way of maintaining the hype train. But the last two phases feel like they've been trying to do both at the same time, when they really should've picked one or the other 😕

All stuff I didn't even realize were things I loved about this movie. It all makes sense. Thank you for making this video to bring me to this realization.

There are millions of plot points Endgame set up

Endgame sucked. Sorry. I don’t understand how people liked it. You don’t kill the villain in the first 10 minutes. You don’t do a girl boss scene. You don’t have a key character tell the villain “you’ll pay for what you did.” and the follow that up with “Lady I don’t even know who you are.” It’s a clinic in shitty filmmaking.

Honestly I feel like they needed to go straight into a new super villain arc. Considering that marvel had just recouped the xmen rights, someone like Apocalypse wouldn't be the worst choice. Especially considering how Sony butchered him.

Honestly I think marvel is built on Stan Lee's back and since he's been gone if you've noticed the last story that was told was Emdgame that involved him. After endgame and Stan Lee had passed foggy and marvel went a different direction. Stan Lee is rolling over in his grave

I’d much rather watch a 2 hour film than a 4-5 hour series

Didn’t finish Eternals. Didn’t finish Thor Love and Thunder. Didn’t finish Quantumania. Didn’t finish The Marvels. Didn’t finish Moon Knight. Slogged my way to the end of Wakanda Forever. Couldn’t get through the first episode of Loki S2. If you’d told me five years ago that a batch of upcoming MCU projects would essentially be walk-outs, I would not have believed you.

How is that a "blip"...? Sorry but you really seem to have missed the entire point of Avatar. Also, I've rewatched this film many times on a small screen and it's just as great now as the first time I saw it.

I hate all the shows except Loki, and it wasn't enough so I am now done with MCU. I don't want this story telling type, I do want 1 universe that combines.

Mediocre Spiderman movie! Wow. Mysterio fools everyone into believing he is a superhero and that Spiderman is a murderer. Spiderman gets hit by a full speed train and he has to deal with the power that Tony Stark left him. Bunch of trash in that movie.

They can use Captain America's returning the gems as a jump point. That brings back Thanos and each stone creates a new time-line. As a fan I hope they use this as a solid foundation for the future films

We can all agree that Phase 4 is crap, Phase 5 is going to be mega crap, the only redeeming quality from both of those phases is, Spider-Man NWH, Loki & Deadpool 3.

good concept and message but POORLY DELIVERED and produced. other videos drive home the important message.....BETTER.

Bruh, the cope at the end is crazyyyy. No way home wasnt a success because it was good. It wasnt bad, but the reason it was a smash is because it combined all 3 spider-men franchises. And you dont need to pretend man. The bus fight wasnt bad, but it's nowhere near some of the other fightscenes in the franchise. The fight between Iron Man, Cap and the Einter soldier is porbably the best, but you could also make an argument for Thor + Iron Man + Cap vs Thanos. I mean, come on. The stakes are basicly non-existent in the bus fight compared to some others. And a fight scene isnt just coreography.

People don't give blade to the credit it deserves for putting Marvel movies on the map to have potential of being very profitable.... blade 1 is still one of my favorite comic book adaptations of all time

This whole issue isnt helped by the fact, that existing characters are being literally character assassinated in front of our eyes. Nick Fury as an example was an incredible man in early Marvel, but has become laughingstock now. Dr. Strange makes incredibly stupid mistakes, for no other reason than plot. Wanda, although dead, was a walking plothole when she was alive. Also, the Marvel earth is starting to become extremely overcrowded by secret organisations. There are so many and they are so strong, that it is surprising that any governenment is still in power. Jokes arent hitting the same either. Actors and actresses arent doing fantastic jobs either (Captain Marvel, cough, cough). All in all, the quality of the movies has deteriorated and they lack direction.

There is only one real reason marvel sucks now politics, if I wanted a political lecture I would go to a Biden campaign rally or take a course on feminism, not a movie theater looking for an escape from reality.

Of all the issues, phase four is complex to understand. Infinity saga was simple, entertaining and fun.
