It was so great when tech entered the filmmaking television space. They used loopholes to stop limiting these safe amount of hours people worked in a day. And got rid of all those pesky residual checks that studios used to pay actors and writers and directors. More money for the stockholders less money for the people actually creating the art. Thanks Big tech! And their mostly unprofitable platforms completely destroyed profitable movie rental businesses and DVD sales!

Well, to bad that mando3 didn't gotta start with episodes like those last 2, also not with it's first 2 that were shoehorned into bobf. Instead we had mando soldiers fighting mossy space pirates n space dinos followed by cuck black n lizzo's dinner party and overall, the utter destruction of the story that was layed out in season2. Also, even the story related issues aside, u can't b seriously believe that kenobi was the best they could do. It certainly wasn't cheap but that money was burned n many of the mistakes weren't excusable with money at all. They did stuff so stupid, it can't even b caused by writers don't really caring for sw. Stuff like cutting through a barrier u can walk around n shooting it in a perspective that has it visable while it's done or a 2seat escape vehicle to get out 4 ppl looks like slapstick wouldn't it b supposed to b taken seriously. Because like that it's just retarded. I would like to hear them talk about these shows, once they aren't longer hoping for future jobs. Specially sam looked already like he would like to ran when they started to talk about kenobi. Also interesting how bobf wasn't even brought up even thouhg it had certainly more stuff that was still enjoyable in an isolated way than kenobi.

G4 Past and not so Past join forces!

Alot to discuss here. But one topic that I want to talk about is development time. It appears fairly common today that most large studios are having serious mismanagement issues that are causing these extremely long cycles. One example of many, 343. Halo Infinite went through so much restructuring from its initial unveiling that had nothing to do with what time it actually took to make the final product. Nintendo does a much better job, but once in a while, suffering the same issue ie. Metriod Prime 4, for instance. Games are expensive and do take time, but I don't believe for a second that any game should take more than 3-4 years to develop. Especially with the tools available compared to 25 years ago.

If we are going all digital thats fine, but there needs to be legislation to protect the consumer from shitty behavior from corporations. If you buy a digital product that license should be yours in perpetuity.

I hate how every conversation about Xbox just has people lumping in PS with it. PS hasn't given up on physical what kind of crazy conversation is this? Helldivers 2 on PC was never physical why did he bring that up in the same conversation?

Can’t see Nintendo going multi platform unless they were in a dire situation. The reason the console manufacturers don’t want to go this route is because they want to bring people to their platform and lock them into their ecosystem for several console generations. the exclusive games exist for the purpose of enticing people to invest into their ecosystem long term (as very few people will invest in two consoles, Nintendo bring the exception). Xbox failed and are going multi platform for their survival, not because of good will. In either case, Sony will port all its games to pc, you just need to be patient so there has been progress on this going for those that dislike exclusivity.

There actually WAS *five* Halo games on XBOX 360: _Halo 3, Halo 4, Halo: Reach, Halo: ODST_ and _Halo: Anniversary Edition (REMAKE)._ It's true that Halo 2 was a original Xbox release, and never received a remaster on that platform outside initial backwards compatibility... but there actually was a total ground-up remake of Halo (with 3D TV support, lol) released towards the end of the systems life. It even had the original CE included in HD as a in-game swappable mechanic. Sadly, like _Gears of War: Judgement,_ it is often forgotten in these current-year conversations because of it's late-gen release status. It hit during a time when the entire narrative was about Halo 4 and Halo 2 Remake (remember that?) on the then upcoming next-generation Xbox.
