POWER To The ANVIL - 1,300 ft-lbs! RIDGID 18V 3/4" High Torque Impact Wrench Review [R86312]
This is hopeless on a German car in spaces where you have minimal movement.
Come for a review, left with a new impact❤ great video, good stuff from ryobi😮
I brought the EGO over this. But I love this though. It was a hard decision since I have more ryobi outdoor tools. The EGo was rated higher
I respect both and shit on everything else
It looks like a great unit for some light duty stuff, but if you plan to run anything with heavy power usage, you will run the unit down very fast. Perhaps too fast. Especially with no pass-through charging. For the cost of that thing, you could buy a dam good gas generator.
What paint did u use?
Is the chuck supposed to spin ? If I hold my chuck n pull trigger the driver spins but the chuck will stay
Just got a reconditioned one for $150
I have EGO products. I need this 😂😂
this is the video i've been looking for...now i understand how and why to turn the screws...thanks million!!!
Seems like a pretty decent upgrade over the original 40V HP with steel shaft. Any idea how it compares to the larger 17” model and the new dedicated brush cutter with the bicycle handle bars?
I picked up the 17 when it was on sale a month or so ago. Never used the 40v 16" before, just one of the ryobi 18v ones. I'd argue the 17 is almost too much for a normal neighborhood lawn, maybe for thick southern grass. Its heavy and powerful enough that its tough to make it look nice, . It rips tho, it'll dig up an inch of dirt if you let it. Also the motor is in the head so you lose the attachment options of the 16, but probably gain a little efficiency.
@@Chris-du7hi Awesome! Thank you so much for the feedback! I knew Ryobi had a whisper with the motor in the head, but I didn’t realize it was the 17” model. Serves me right for not looking. Thank you again!
So the same as the 15inch carbon fiber model with just the difference in guard
Well I have 4 string trimmers I have the ryobi like you showed and a straight shaft milwaukee 18 volt string trimmer and a milwaukee split shaft trimmer and a ego trimmer . If I want speed it’s the ego but I really like the milwaukee . Yup ryobi is my last choice . Normally I grab the milwaukee because it very lite .
I just bought one of these ice makers on the 18th and got it today (the 22nd). I have it set up next to my fridge and I bought it through Vevor directly. It's way cheaper than the Amazon price you showed. Anywho, this is my first ice machine ever and I was looking for videos on how to use this thing and I have to say that yours was the most thorough of all of them and I appreciate the time you took with all of the details for newbies like myself. 😊
I have the older 13-15 one, I think the only difference is the guard. The rest of the unit looks identical. The head unit sure is. I use it with a brush cutter, edger, snow shovel and pole saw, expand-it is a great platform
I just got the older model of that trimmer, it shreds. I run it at about 70% since even that is well more than needed for anything. Also got the hedge trimmer attachment, really nice
Ego customer support stinks. The CSRs are very nice, but they have no power to make anything happen. I've been waiting 4 weeks for a 7.5Ah battery for my mower, an approved warranty replacement, but they haven't shipped it an CSRs have no idea why the warehouse hasn't shipped it. Bought a generic battery.
Love this tool. I have the older model. Love love the form is. Just like a gas weed eater. The battery life is ok. I cut three lawns and the battery does not last. But I would go with a 6 amp. Love that I can buy different cutting heads. The low speed is the best just if your yard is samll. Have a good day!
Low speed does very well for practically anything you need to cut at least for me it does. Now all Ryobi needs is a reciprocal cutting head attachment! Since I don’t have the brush cutter attachment, I had great results using the Rino-Tuff twisted trimmer line on small saplings. Ultimately yeah you should use the brush cutter attachment for that kind of stuff!
How to remove a broken phillip driver?
5/10 relay what is 10?? amps? 5 pin what ??
Wow
Great review video
I tried the stock blade, and a chain-saw style blade. Neither was optimal. For cutting brush, nothing beats coupling the Milwaukee brush cutter attachment with an Oregon Universal Mulching Brushcutter 2 Tooth blade. It's astounding what you can do with that setup.
That does look flimsy. Dremels' looks sturdier and accepts the Ryobi tool.
Kind of a skewed test don't you think? You talked about pricing of the kits and bare tool, but you included the forge battery on the Milwaukee. Which d does not come with the kit and has to be bought seperate. The Milwaukee with a 5.0 ah battery won't hit the same performance metrics, and honestly, most people are just going to buy the kit with the battery and not invest in another $200 dollar battery.
How much price
Love the work that goes into researching and creating these videos. Both impressive tools that will wreck 1/2 sockets. However seeing what Milwaukee's m12 3/8 stubby impact does and their m12 high speed ratchet as well, I know where I stand. Thank you again for what you and your team does!
It would be a more fair test if you would've used the regular 5.0 battery that the Milwaukee comes with because the price is waaaay different with a Forge battery and the Snap On doesn't have an equivalent of a Forge battery! One Forge battery is $250 people. But I know how this channel loves to suck up to Milwaukee.
Tenía el mismo problema una broca quebrada pero pude solucionar gracias al video muchas gracias
I used to work at a Hobby Store that sold and worked on remote control cars. I would fill one of these with WD40 and use to clean and lubricate metal parts of the RC's, it saved so much money, considering WD40 was around 17 dollars a gallon back then. Good times.
Thank you for your solid words and presentation of this saw. I have the EGO "18 saw. I've noticed a difference in it's blade just as you have mentioned. It's not as aggressive as the "20 blade you demonstrated here. However, it gets the job done very well. These saws are nice and boring, IN A GOOD WAY. I like it when I can go through these cutting jobs without the drama of spending money and time maintaining a gas saw (my misspent youth). I'll take "boring" everyday of the week.
I like it. Already have 3 batteries from lawn mower and snow thrower.
Then you're all set. It's such a cool ride. Thanks for watching.
Where does the DCF961 rank?
Probably at the top. Thanks for watching.
lol snap on is a thing of the past I work in a Mercedes-Benz dealership, and all the senior master techs use Milwaukee Snap is overpriced and overrated. Milwaukee power tools have a longer warranty. And their sockets and wrenches are lifetime warranty so you don’t have to deal with tool trucks. At this point the only thing I would buy from snap is maybe a toolbox, but even that may be pushing it ……😂😂😂
He’s speaking facts
If this video isn’t a prime example of how snap on tools are overpriced then I don’t know what is.
Snap-off is overpriced Trash I literally sold all my snap-off for Milwaukee Just because things are high priced don't mean it's the best. All you fanbois keep bying the truck tools.
All in all, when my Milwaukee 1/2 dies I’m probably gonna be buying the Ridgid 3/4… It is gonna look great with all of my 14.4 Snapon tools, and the ridiculous amount of Milwaukee tools I own
Well this video sure helped me make up my mind, the DeWALT it is. 😆
I prefer ridgid or Milwaukee, snap on cost to much
1000 cycles on a battery that costs more than the milwuakee impact seems like a very small amount of uses. You're paying for a brand that used to have good warranties but now just makes shit and is only willing to back up their products for 2 years
I love me some Snap On, they really do make a lot of fantastic tools. I’ll take my Snap On hand tools over just about anything else, any day of the week. However, their prices on power tools and other electrical and diagnostic equipment are just quite frankly inexcusable. It’s why when I finally retired my very tired Snap On and Matco cordless tools, I replaced them with Milwaukee. Couldn’t be happier overall. That said Snap On does have some really neat cordless tools that I wish Milwaukee would make versions of. The rocker switch compact impacts and screw guns are just so sweet to use, too bad they just cost way too much.
Thank you !!!!!! 😭 🫡🫡
Hi Tim, thanks for your great video, impressing the way you explained the tool. Just a question : which kind of drill did you use to drill the 3 different materials? Thanks in advance for your feedback!
You have the number transposed on your video title. It's *2967* not 2976!
We fixed it. Thanks for the heads up.
I would love to see the snap on ct9038 review. I think that’s the new 18v 3/8 stubby.
We'll be doing that soon too. ;) Thanks for watching.
