    I think it was well explained and using real components makes it easier to understand than using electrical diagrams.
    You don't need a $500 display to explain this.

    Say I got a truck with a fan clutch. Replacing this fan clutch with a cooling fan isn't a good option. Electric fans are noisy! I'll stick with the fan clutch and factory fan shroud any day over an electric fan.
    The new Chevy and Ford trucks have electric fans. It's very annoying. I guess I don't like anything new. Especially when I drive out hunting and those fans come on. Won't be any wildlife within 2 miles!

      You are correct, they are noisy. That doesn't change the fact that many opt for this as an upgrade for cooling and horsepower purposes. And, many times, it's for clearance issues as well.
