- This Milwaukee 2886 M18 FUEL Flathead Grinder will fit into angles less than 42-degrees. Regular grinders don't have a chance at this. The Flathead grinder delivers up to 8,500 RPM and the Rapid Stop braking system will stop a standard grinding wheel in less than 2 seconds; it will stop a cutting will in just 1.4 seconds. #review #tools #milwaukeetool

Flat head grinders are a life saver when you need them. I have a corded Metabo 6” flathead that gets used a hood bit. I recently bought this m18 fuel flat head with a 4 1/2” fuel m18 grinder package deal from Home Depot. I returned the 4.5” and ended up on paying $180 for the 5” flathead. I’ve used it a few times and I’m very pleased with it
Better be a Milwaukee fan like me to buy a tool like this! Thanks for reminding me of another Milwaukee tool i need in my life!
I've had the Dewalt flat head for 2 years and have loved it. Definitely comes in handy.
I also have one a very handy tool.
The auto stop is awesome!
Thank you, another great one!!!!
Another great video!! Thanks
Great review TIM JOHNSON!
Great Review TIM JOHNSON !
Thank you for the heads up on the ACME tool/battery deal!!!!
That’s pretty damn sweet!
I have this, and it's amazing. I saw a video of someone putting the flat heat on the variable speed body for the ultimate grinder. Im thinking about moding mine, variable speed would be nice to have.
I see on TT & did exactly, swap and now is a variable speed & LOVE IT.
Can you use an angle grinder or a flathead grinder in the garage near your gas powered water heater?
As a Flex user, I'm kinda disappointed that the inventor of angle grinders didn't think of this first. I'll have to let my brother know so he can add it to his Milwaukee set.
Milwaukee didn't invent it😂
@@aetorres7422he's clearly saying flex did
@james2042 no he's clearly stating the inventor of the grinder didn't make the head smaller from the get go
@@zanehaselden5573 FLEX tools was actually the original inventor of the angle grinder, and now that they are fully into battery-powered tools, they still kept the original head.
@@zanehaselden5573 flex originally invented the angle grinder just for your info. I am a milwaukee fan though. Milwaukee invented the sawzall
I mean snap makes tools and all, but Milwaukee is king!
Y DeWalt has had one for 20 years already
Im just smiling the whole video lmao 😂
Gimmme finally they made it
Its been out for a long time lmao, he just finally made a video on it!
If just buying one of the two choices, which one is the best? I’m thinking the flathead would be more versatile. What are your thoughts?
Flathead + a cheaper or bigger diameter grinder.
Variable speed if you just get one. Do you even have the need for a flathead? There so many tasks in grinding and polishing where I don't go full speed.
Id do the paddle style but to me its too annoying vs the on off switch! As the paddle isnt varible speed
I don’t need the flathead Bec I don’t make messy welds in tight places
Kinda liking the dad jokes. 👍
Is this Shop Toll Reviews with TIM JOHNSON? Cause I didn’t hear TIM JOHNSON!
Needs a slide switch, paddle is going to get in the way them tight spots
Nah, its just annoying when its not variable speed! Just worth to buy switched version 100%!
It not being variable speed is actually so annoying. Especially because the heads are interchangeable between normal and flathead.
Dcg 460 is the best
Bro give me flex hammer drill please 🥺 give me bro
