Choosing a Coach for Western States 100
The last time I had a coach was 2019 and while it was a great relationship, I ventured off to do many wild, unconventional races & projects that I wanted to figure out on my own: Badwater 135, The Choose Strong 507 Mile Project, & the Grand Slam of 200s. Now as I journey back to Western States 100 it’s time to reign in my training & seek new guidance in order to continue to grow.

I’m a stocky dude at 5’9 and 215lb and knocked out a 17 mile long run this weekend. No ones too big to run. You just need to be able to put one foot in front of the other and repeat.
I thought that i was a trail runner... Yet my biggest achievement was half marathon ... This is mental.. Sally you're such an inspiration that i dont even know if you're aware of that...pocket jesus .. ❤
