To be honest, I’m unsure how these roasts work but didn’t see any issue in what or how he said what he said. I’m also really sad to see people gunning for him and JLO, and who desperately want them to fail as a couple. I know they are both in the public eye, but believe they both deserve their privacy to keep elements of their private lives private. I genuinely hope they do stand the test of time, and that the general public give them both a break.

Eddie or her leagal name is Suzy Izzard did come out as trans in the 70s/80s. She has always been out as Trans, however her name change only happened last year. she has done stuff about being trans from the begaining of her stand up career. She is always been this is only part of my personaltiy unlike a lot of people where it seems to be in every sentence they say, or at least record she has just got on with it. Suzy is now a little bit more vocal about her gender. She has alway been trans. In my opinion one of the kindest and understanding trans out there, being able to be called Eddie and not making such a deal with all of it. I highly respect that. So we can pay that respect back by using the preferred pronouns of Suzy (Eddie) Izzard can we not?

I first saw Izzard in a comedy club in Catford sometime around 1989-1991. I instantly sussed him as a wrung 'un. He gave off the vibe of being a gay man who didn't like straight men, almost to the point of hating them. That's the impression I got.

There is an issue here. Netflix went before parliament and did claim Fiona is a convicted stalker. If she isn’t, that’s a problem for Netflix. That side, I believe the vast majority of what Gadd has claimed is true - if she continues with this lawsuit it will be revealed.

Update (16 May): The Dutch broadcast AVRO TROS got hold of the EBU rules. It seems appeal after being disqualified is not possible. No independent commission, nothing. Very undemocratic. Also it seems Osterdahl can make these decisions on his own. EBU says it advised some (board?) members, but who are these members? From which countries? Because if these countries benefit from someone being disqualified, how can that be a valid decision?? The answer is: it can’t be. Not if he decides on his own, neither if other countries benefit by supporting his decision (EBU’s employees are also Citizens). So not 2024. A very old-fashioned undemocratic organisation that can do and decide whatever they want, too much power.
