There is an issue here. Netflix went before parliament and did claim Fiona is a convicted stalker. If she isn’t, that’s a problem for Netflix. That side, I believe the vast majority of what Gadd has claimed is true - if she continues with this lawsuit it will be revealed.

I also never assumed everything in the drama was 100% true. I think it did say at the start of episode 1 This is a true story, but I’ve watched documentaries where not everything is true so I certainly don’t expect everything in a drama series to be true. Yes there are the credits at the end with the disclaimer that the story has been dramatised, but people are saying it should have said based on a true story and that no one will read the credits. Maybe if over a certain percentage is true then they can put it as a true story, I don’t know the rules 🤷🏻‍♀️
I feel like he added that last scene maybe so people wouldn’t go after her, as she was pleading guilty which is basically her taking responsibility for what she did and accepting it was wrong. I’m guessing from what I’ve seen of her that in real life she hasn’t taken responsibility for what she did or accepted that it was obsessive behaviour.
