I watched some of this movie after seeing this clip, and boy did it bring up some shocking memories of childhood. The biggest shocker, was the kid sitting on her bed, smoking a cigarette. What was so memorable about this, was back in the early 80s, kids did in fact smoke cigarettes. My school actually had a pateo for kid's that wanted to smoke. Imagine being a teacher, going outside to talk to a student, and seeing a bunch of 10+ year olds smoking cigarettes? The heavy smoking laws came out the year after I graduated high school.

This happened to me when I was a younger kid thank God my friend that was about three or four years older than me was with me because she was the one that stuck up for me and argued with the lady. Until the lady gave me my money back. I was such a shy child that I would have just cried and said nothing at all until I got home. So I'm really grateful my friend was with me.
Her name is Tatum O'Neil, she made this movie with her father Ryan O'Neil. At that time she was the youngest person to win an Academy Award. Great movie. I can't remember if it got movie of the year.
Paper Moon a great movie.
“little girl”😭
his barber did him dirty 💀
That is Tatum O'Neal.
Same thing happened in Malcom x and mlk show on Disney+
Oh yeah I remember seeing this.. the Bible sales were genius.😂
So uh'uh is from a long ago
Is the girl eants to steal. Not stole. it didnt happen so it is not past tense
You messed up in your own message , what does "is the girl wants to steal" mean?
Mrs. Brownwell should have been fired immediately for stealing that baby's money. 😠
This was such a great movie Tatum was fabulous she stole the show.
I have a friend of mine who marks bills for things like this, he uses a brail machine as that’s allowed to be used
One of my favorites!!! She was so good!!
It was because of scams and mistakes like this that cashiers were taught to place the bill on top of the cash drawer and leave it there until after the change was given.
Her cry made them Realize😅
20 dollar is 20 dollar
