I love how so many SCP articles talk about "non-euclidean structures" as if that means something horrific or otherworldly, when non-euclidean just mean that their base is on a sphere instead of a surface. Technically, all structures on Earth could be said to be non-euclidean as Earth is a sphere, but the sphere is so massive that it looks like a surface when you walk on it, so they appear Euclidian for all intent and purposes.

Fun that the hostile roots are an absolutely terrifying scp all on their own.

On the subject of the word "delete" being used in place of certain near-synonyms with very different connotations, I've been looking at a lot of early skips, and I notice that a lot of early references to "termination" just refer to Foundation personnel having their employment contract ended. This includes D-class, who are considered to have been recruited as Foundation personnel in lieu of them being executed for their crimes, which is why the two definitions of "terminate" tended to blur; in this case, your pay for your job is just the ability to *maybe* keep breathing, and thus firing from that job equals immediate death. But in other cases, such as a researcher, "termination" may just mean losing your cushy job with an extremely well-funded inter-govermental taskforce, and probably getting amnesticized before they may or may not place you with some new employer more suited to your skills and demonstrated characteristics (eg if you were termed for an ethics violation, they might infiltrate you into a sleazy but relatively harmless company, so you live out the rest of your career in mediocrity and never stumble upon the truth about the world ever again; lacking a job, a former agent is a potential exposure risk, since they're motivated to use all the capabilities the Foundation once valued them for). Of course, by the time 6280 comes along, the fandom has rather forgotten this early definition, much the way it has forgotten what the containment classes used to mean, before everything was standardized around the "box test".

It's amazing that most of their stuff stays locked up, without maintenance, as long as you don't mess with it.

You know what kills this one? The use of Dr. Bright. Even if the fairy managed to take over Bright name it shouldn't have mattered because Bright is not who the person is but the medallion. Because of the SCP that is Dr. Bright it is impossible for Bright to die or stop existing. The fairy wouldn't have made a whole day before her mind was overcome by the medallion and bright was back in control or someone else was made into Bright.

Anyone else notice the similarities between 3333 and the tower in Jeff Vandermeer's book Annihilation? Anomalous structure with many many floors, madness, etc ... good stuff !!!
